  1. Bloody hell Lui ..... And there was me thinking i had a vivid imagination
  2. GASH .... OOOOOOH thats a nasty word...
  3. Hope so as not seen you two for ages, Heard about the the bike hassle too, Need to get him to stay with 4 wheels abit safer these days.. Look forward to seeing you both soon and the Supe up and running
  4. Whiff bits do the Boss and you keep Cruise about £85.00 i think i paid Don't go no less than 350mm diameter on steering wheel any less feels nasty and you can't see the dials properly takes about 10 mins to change, But and bit of caution here ( as a Airbag is basically an explosive ) As you have a Airbag make sure you have disconnected the battery and left for at least half an hour before removing the Airbag, oh and remember you'll need to remove the Airbag bulb too Momo 3 spoke is nice touch
  5. Usually a quick process if you go to a reg office and you have all the documentation it can be done while you wait, this is what my friends do when they reg imports and have done for me when i transfer my plate onto another import Only prob i had this year was buying a Reg Plate from Company in N Ireland Different rules to over here, We bought a brand new RX8 in January ( 2nd one) and they wouldn't give me the Personal plate retention certificate (although i owned the Number after payment) as they have to reg transfer it, Pathetic and total bo++cks sure they must be making on something though So had to have a different plate on for when car was first reg ( not ideal for service books etc ) and then transfer again 2 weeks later... This only applies to buying plates out of UK Did same thing 18 mths previous bought a new RX8 (the 1st one) and bought a Reg over here, got a certificate and just gave it to dealer to reg it at first reg, Trust me process is really easy and should be done same day for you Just pay £80 transfer fee.
  6. Where have you two been hiding of late, Not seen you at any of the meets or at JAE, Heard from Lui James has been having a real nightmare with the Supe since doing the "single " thingy in getting it running again Hope its all worth all the aggro at the end, Andy
  7. HA HA..... Was Not me holding up the convoy in my NA i think it was all the TT Boys having to keep stopping for fuel !!!! HA HA Great day........... really looking forward to seeing the video
  8. I was with Lui ( a couple of cars behind) most of the way up to Brampton and then behind a lovely grey Veilside Supra All went pearshaped after Brampton though, and confusion at the showground turn off But great convoy ... great laugh ...
  9. I was with the front pack all the way up .... but the reason the convoy didn't work as planned I think was that the Speed was just too quick which is why the group got split up so quickly out of Miimms But I was in a NA so very impressed with myself that i kept up with you TT Boys... .........which i thought was good especially with the extra drag of my Veilside... ha ha ( before anyone makes the comments) I'll rub salt in the wounds here Watford to South mimms South Mimms to Peterborough ( we know the speed guys) Peterborough to Watford 180miles just over 1/4 tank:yahoo: Good job there was plenty of Fuel stations on the A1 for you TT Boys aye!!!
  10. Gaurdian ... YEAH RIGHT HA HA HA You've been reading the Dailysport:p Reckon any of the girls would be interested though ??? SORRY COULDN'T RESIST I'LL GET MY COAT SHALL I ?????
  11. Wohhhhh !!! glad we went today, Heard some really funny stories from friends who were staying for the whole weekend, Yesterday apparantley was classed as a cat 4 storm They were glad they were staying at the Premier lodge and not camping like last year .... But made the weekend a little more exciting I suppose
  12. Great Supra day out and Convoy was a blast. But I thought the JAE show on the whole was very poor, worse than Last year !!! Only bonus was they had sorted out the Admission cost as last year was a scandulous rip off ( this years £20.00 a car was acceptable I think ) Where were all the trade stands!! and did you think all the clubs were dotted about all hotch potch again I'm sure there was much more there last year, and this was the general feeling of loads of people I know through the Jap clubs and meets etc Perhaps Saturday had more there but got washed out??? in the Big Storm of JAE 2006 ... And alot people gave up and went home??? But hey I had a great day today ... And some real fine Supras on the club stand , It was great to put some faces to names... Looking forward to the convoy movie and pics ... Hope everyone got home in one peice and no problems on the way. Cracking day....
  13. Most probably a Skyline next.... But I must admit I have fell in love with the wifes RX8 (She's now on No2 as they are that good!!) as an everyday use package. Just needs a spolier and a few tweeks here and there, but the rotary is great fun to drive and the car is very smooth ... If we are all really honest... The Supra is a great car but not a practical every day car on the whole.. Biggest issue is the poor boot space for such a large car .. but thats all really i could fault it on I suppose in all honesty,

    ST185 GT4s

The ST205 is the better car, My mate back in 95 was one of the first to have one ( shame only in red) they were basically an import through UK Dealers (e.g square no plates) and a price tag of £38000 .... To this day i have not been in such a entertaing car maybe only 245bhp but with the 4x4 it sees of most things... yeah "keep it JDM yo" whatever that is supposed to mean
  15. He goes to Ace Cafe Meet, Does it really matter thats its a N/A !!!
  16. Hi Just wondered if anyone was planning to film the convoy Sunday, Would be good if we had some great footage so can put on a DVD Will the filming also be on the clubs video link..
  17. I Think the black box is just a silencer for the induction Pipework would be easy if the new pipe had outlets to take the vac pipes Alot of the K&N 57i kits for cars usually allow you to remove the resonator / silencer box In their kits they just use an additional pipe, Must be similar surely Doesn't appear to be any switches, that is taken care of in the HKS pipe at the front

    ST185 GT4s

Buy the ST205 a much better car 245bhp and twin entry turbo 4x4
  19. most of that is the ITG induction kit but i'm told that isn't a good idea with a Supra. Only on TT due to excessive heat soak, Don't have this with a N/A But still make up a heat sheild and if poss make up a Air feed I have put the std Air box back on my N/A and the performance was less, Put the HKS back on and pulls much better, more responsive and economical
  20. Got a dyno print out and some other tuning paperwork that I can't make head or tail of that came with it from Japan, As far as I can see The Air filter kit and exhaust and some head work i think poss cams, standard N/A is between 225 - 230bhp and on 99RON fuel ( i only use 95 RON as no turbo so pointless ) It seems to really "come on cam" around 5500rpm Apparantley the NA really responds really well to an exhaust change as the stock system is heavily restricted as you find on Skylines too, A standard Sklyine GTS Single Turbo change the exhaust and induction and your looking at best part of 300bhp (stage 1 tune) Look at a stock system then a performance system, you loose about half of the exhaust,
  21. Mines a Manual get around 24 - 26 around town best on a long run is 36mpg Roughly around town just over 1/4 tank = 125 miles (£20 fuel) The NA seems to come into its own around 5500rpm
  22. Just wondered, I have a HKS Induction kit and wondered if there is a polished Alloy pipe on the market which replaces the stock plastic bit at the throttle housing which then attaches to a rubber pipe which then connects to the HKS Pipe, The stock one has a few vac pipe connecting to it and what looks like some resornator tank attached, Anyone know of a pipe that would replace all this and just have a rubber collar each end to join at throttle end and filter end and with the relevent Vac connector pipe points already on it
  23. Dont get this??? Get a email asking about JAE ??? which links you to this forum Whats the joke in this .. or am missing the point ....
