  1. I take it you have the Tein adjustables? Can you not just make the ride a little softer?
  2. Blimey, didn't realise CW was that close to Burton-on-Trent. Splendid . . .
  3. I've got the a606i installed on mine (think it's that model anyway!), receipts show it was also installed by Sexton's. Looking at the iginition wires, they basically did a hell of a bad cut-n-shut job on the wires, chopping them left right and centre However, I've got the GReddy turbo timer installed no probs, very easy with the right harness. The only problem being that you have to wait for the engine to turn off before you set the alarm, which could be what they're on about. Doesn't matter to me though, I just wanted the turbo timer as a.) an indication of how long to let it idle (and then add a minute just to be sure! ), and b.) a pretty looking gadget
  4. "Happiness is a rectilinear kitten" made me laugh!
  5. valve stem seals? Hoping to do mine next month, as I get the dreaded smoky start up sometimes.
  6. Think so, mate. They'll [the angles] be based on Toyota's specifications / recommendations I would imagine.
  7. The numbers are the angles, mate. Shown there in degrees and minutes ( a minute = 1/60th degree).
  8. I know what you mean mate. Feckin' great, ain't it? :D
  9. Think Titan can supply them too, but dunno how their prices compare to MVP's

    Unemployed :(

Sorry to hear it Jake. If you get desperate, I can always get a job on a construction site in the Midlands!
  11. Um, mine does this when the bonnet is up / loose / not closed properly . . .
  12. Yup, when I changed the Blitz SUS back to the stock airbox it was a hell of a lot quieter - peace perfect peace! tbh, those noises did my head in after a while. I found that there seemed a bit more 'oomph' lower down the rev range too.

    Only In America

Best defence against a martial artist with a big pointy stick? A gun. Fair play to him though, that's pretty damn impressive.
  14. Found this while browsing last night - any help? http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/failed_lamp_sensor_fix/index.html
  15. Is there any additional bracing or owt under the UK spec bonnet? Can anyone take some pics of where the UK vent screws onto, please? Or is is it just a case of chopping out a hole and drilling a couple of holes in the outer skin to secure the vent?
  16. nope, purely cosmetic. Literally just stuck straight on top of the jap bonnet.
  17. Out of curiosity I took a closer look at the "Uk spec bonnet" today. It's not. Neither is the hoodscoop screwed or bolted down but held on with, I presume, super-glue. I'll have to keep it on now probably, due to any paint discoloration (and not knowing what's holding it on!) but it's a bloody pointless air brake in my eyes, and I'm now worried it might fly off and cause someone damage if I'm travelling at speed. Not a happy bunny.
  18. The missus has just bought herself a 2002 black Rav4, but desperately wants some clear rear lights for it, having fallen in love with the old JDM lights on the Celica. can't seem to find any anywhere, don't suppose anyone has any suggestions? It would certainly make my life a little bit more bearable!
  19. Eek! Just looked at the Vortex site - BL exhaust comes in at £800! Think it may be a little out my price range there . . . . Been looking at (and getting tempted by) the HKS Dragger 2 over on the Whifbitz site
  20. Dammit, now you've made me start shopping for a full decat! lol Would you suggest a restrictor ring with that, seeing as it's only gonna be on stock ceramics? Currently saving up for a set of big brakes, and got Nic's TRD coilovers on their way
  21. Single? I wish! Decided to concentrate (mainly) on brakes and suspension first though, maybe I'm just over cautious
