  1. You need the one that does both, circa 100 pounds (where is the pound sign on this damn keyboard?) I have one fitted, from memory it is TSD + DSC its a doddle to fit!
  2. Nic, the area around the oxygen sensors is not the problem, its one of the collectors rubs against the steering column, slightly, you have to heat it up until it glows red and then give it a tap with a hammer. Mine is ok now.... Let me know if there is any other advice I can give you?
  3. Martin, as you will be aware I am away in Greece at the moment, so can not do any work, if required. Can you keep an eye on this thread and I will when I can get to an internet cafe! Hope everything goes alright and you all have a good time.
  4. Simon, buy a T plate run-around for this plate! Then you can keep it! When I get back from Zante, we will put out heads together and see what we could devise for you to keep the plate!

  12. Doubt you will have turbulence at that time of the year, Dont forget the fringes of the Med, are similar temperature, its only when you get a differential you get turbulence, such as over mountains.
  13. I hate flying, its a family thing, none of the male members of my family fly, they were all sailors (no puns, please). Has anyonegot any tips to alleviate the dread (fear) that we might have?

  18. You have not got that polish girl up the duff have you? Good luck with the sale, and your move to a Warsaw ghetto.
  19. Dude contact, Lucifer at MKIVStore, he bought the whole car!
  20. Hi as some of you know I have been renovating a 205GTI, 1.6, 89G, 80,000 genuine miles. Last week, I was going to get my MOT done, when the car just died on me and refused to start again! after about 10-15 minutes the car started and I continued to drive, where the car dies again! It always seems to be when it comes to operating temperature. Oil pressure is good, plenty of clean oil in the sump, new filter and plugs, checked most of the connections are intact. Has anyonegot any ideas of how I can remedy this problem. Oh I was told that the fuel pump relay can cause stalling, so I replaced with a brand-new one, also replaced the fuel pump with a working one out of another car, I tested it before fitting and it was fine.. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated....

That looks like Keith Floyd, the chef. Perhaps his good driving is down to him being loaded on chianti, all the time?
