  1. Will be there 1.00 next Sunday, look forward to it, just contacted some other Supra owners from Hull to see if they want to attend. See you soon.
  2. Hi we are having a little "mini-meet" next sunday 15th in York if you fancy it? Let me know, what you think!

  4. Why has everybody forgotten the Ford GT40? That is a superb car!
  5. Next Sunday 15th then! Clifton Moor! Where shall we meet? P.s. are you going to the Lake District Cruise? We are (The gaffer and I), stopping in a B&B overnight, which there is probably space left if you wanted to book?
  6. Hello, I have a white one and I live in Hull not far from Wawne Road, but it was not me, I was out in it on Tuesday - there is another! Would welcome a meet up to "chew the fat" personal message me, if you would like to, best wishes. Ahhhhh I saw yours in Halfords on clough road a couple of weeks ago, I wimpered as the Supra has been my favourite car since they first came out, I sulked for a bit after I saw yours and then i was given permission to buy one by the gaffer! I would like to see yours up close when you have the time, pm me and we can chat further if you wish
  7. Hi from over here in sunny HULL, I will love to attend your meet if thats ok? See you on the 12th of June.
  8. Hello, if you get in touch wth your local council they will record your complaint and they will ask for you to make a record of each and every incident, with dates and more importantly times. You will then need to do this for a couple of months! The council then have the power to slap an order on them, depending on the severity of the offences (ie noise after 11pm and the like). Hope this might help....
  9. I am available most weekends, to come to York would be a nice ride out! Any of you lot going to Japfest from our way (ooooop north)? Like I mentioned before I am off with a mate, but I could be described to take the "white-lady". Regards York, Clifton Moor would be better, as that pub is a bit away from the car, park so we might not get noticed - we could then take a "cruise" into York for the effect????
  10. Hi guys YORK would be a good place to meet up, thats fairly central! I live in HULL and would enjoy meeting up with other sup owners. Let me know when, p.s. I am off to Japfest, not in the sup though, but I could be persuaded! Going in mates MX6! Or would that be considered as "sleeping with the enemy"
  11. Still preforming tricks, lost its leg in a terrible cambelt accident, I tried to tell "Mr Mittens" not to torque the pulley up so tight.
  12. Thanks Paul, can you give me some more details of these relocation kits? Are they just so you can have a sandwhich plate for the sensors or are they for putting the oil filter in a completely different place? P.s. I live in East Yorkshire, where televisions are the work of trickery, roads consist of crushed up bettles and horse dung and petrol is a thick gloopy liquid we extract from the ground.
  13. Hi guys, I come once again before your infinite wisdom to ask a humble question: Where can I put the sensors in for a oil pressure and oil temperature gauge? I believe lots of people use Mocal oil take off adapters, if so where can I find one? Does it work? Now I must go I have much preparing to do, for my pupils - they are to learn the fine art of science and the ways of the world!
  14. I can not say that I have ever heard of that put considering the chemicals in ones piss I would not doubt that for a moment! Homework, try it out and inform us of the outcome, including any reaction scheme you know. Hand in on Friday. Thanks, you are dismissed!
  15. Hello! BBQ lighter fluid is usually paraffin or as us chemists call it, Kerosene, now this is a highly volatile liquid that is extracted from crude oil after petrol (called fractional distillation) it has a much better burn characteristic than petrol, however the temperatures are much, much higher! Hence why it is used in airplanes as it needs less oxygen present to combust. I wll dig out the receipe for homemade octane boost, you usually need something called n-heptane which is awful stuff, which soaks into the skin and is a hideous carcinogen! But I am sure that we can find something else! perhaps a new forum should be employed called "Bucket chemistry" we could share our highs and lows of burning stuff, in the great scheme of supra things!
  16. Sorry to put it in the wrong forum list, or if I seem thick! just back from a hard days at school (yes I am a teacher not a young chav!) How on earth do I get into the club, what are the costs, how do I apply? I bow down to your superior knowledge, except from anything chemistry wise. P.s I will not tell youhow to make your own home-made octane booster, which IS possible! Thanks
  17. Hmm I think I better just opt to wash and wax the car then! Sounds less painfull
  18. Thanks for your speedy reply, the weathers a bit poo today so I cannot wax my new white lady! best wishes.
  19. There was a couple of the A pillar gauge pods on Ebay the other day, perhaps they are still there approx £50.00 new. Best wishes.
  20. Hi I have just realised my childhood dream of having a supra, I would like to give it a service, I would like to know what type of oil I should use, here is the spec: Standard, un-modified J-Spec N/a 3000 Supra 94, imported last year. Many thanks, this is mainly for my piece of mind.
