    New Discs

Nice looking discs, what make/price are they. Calipers look good painted too

    Only in America

That is gratuitous exploitation at the lowest level. Springer is a C**t.
  3. Unlucky. Hope sorting it out is as painless as possible. Just curious, do you have the alloy crash bar removed from your car?
  4. But minus the challenge and satisfaction of doing it yourself. I know what i'd rather do!
  5. Fun and games, eh Darryl. I know this is of no use, but it's a shame you're so far from me as i could get pretty much any fab work done for you at the engineering company i'm working for now. You know it'll be worth the hassle in the end though.
  6. Like the bit where he rips off the BM', and spanks the guys head into the steering wheel I assume it was one of his mates.
  7. They seem to have their facts mostly correct about the cars. It's their comments about the owners that is funny. Apparantly we're all hairy backed medalion wearers with socks shoved down our pants, lol. This was my fave quote about supras..."find out if it's tuned! If so, you will have your a$$ handed to you on a plate." A funny read.
  8. Bloody hell, the missis. Forgot about her. Better go check she still lives here....

    Dump vavle?

You'll know all about that soon, eh Darryl
  10. Well chunky. Can't see them letting go in a hurry

    Bike race fans.....

Prey tell me there is footage.
  13. To do that would be very expensive. To be done properly would involve wet flating the whole car, masking and painting the graphics, airbrushing the shadows and laquer/polish the whole car. If you wanted there to be no lump where the edge of the graphics were painted, the laquer would also have to be flatted and reaplied until they were at the same level. (time consuming, lots of materials) And don't forget, this is assuming that your base red is good enough to paint on once the vinyls are removed. This would however, be Ultra Cool and i strongly advise you to go ahead with it. There are quicker methods to give the same visual effect, but they're shit and wont last. To give you an idea, this job on this Harley tank is the same process, and cost the customer about £350
  14. Remember the Schwantz/Rainey era? These guys had a career long battle that began when they first started out racing in the states, and ended up battling it out in the world stage in 500gp. When Rainey took a dive into the gravel and broke his back in '93, Schwantz went on to win the title (his only one) and subsequently retired mid season the following year claiming "there was no one left to race" I absolutely loved this era of racing. I had my little fs1-e at the time and admired these guys so much. Anyway, found this video and it brought back a few memorys .... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ag5K8Xc0NcU&mode=related&search=
  15. That's pretty funny. Check out the "Joey Hands Crash" on the same page. One hell of a crash.
  16. Resulto. What was left to get, anything cool looking. Get some pics up, parts porn and all that!

    respray price

I think 2k is a ballpark for anyone that is going to do any good. That's for straight respray, not accounting for any damage/rust that may need sorting. Remember that a lot of that is for materials.
  18. Oh yeah, i remember that thread when you did it. Nice job. I'm using single pack cellulose Satin Black. I've got 3 litres which was all they had on the shelf at the time, i'll see how that goes as far as coverage when i do the quarters etc and just get some more if needed.
  19. Yes mate, i've got a 3M paint mask. When i do the primer, i'll see how it goes with overspray in the atmosphere. If i need to, i'll rig up some kind of extraction. I'm not doing the whole car in one hit, i'll be doing Rear quarters/door shuts, roof and front wings, then wheel the car out and do the doors, bonnet and bumpers after. Obviously i'm not too fussed if the finish varies. Mega gutted i'm not going to be getting on with this now this weekend. Mind you, it depends how quickly i can nail a head gasket to the missis Punto:superman:
  20. Try your local papers and supermarkets, they have add boards usualy. This is where old ladies sell their old metros and the like that have done 500 miles in the last ten years. For the love of Christ....don't get an old Fiat.
  21. Soarers are cool. Some fine examples around. A guy i knew had the V8 one, a bit slow. Turbo all the way
  22. Veilside front/skirts, TRD rear wing. Looks close to standard red to me.
  23. Thanks for the encouragement guys. I suppose it must seem a little crazy to do this, but what the hell! Anyway, i'm a bit pi**ed off today, i was going to get stuck into this tomorrow but the missis has just been RAC'd home in her Punto after the head gasket has finaly given up the ghost . Looks like i'm going to be sorting that out over the weekend instead. And yes lads, i have got the floor covered and a couple of fan heaters. (do you think i'm some kind of cowboy)
