  1. No shit! Mate that is a very generous offer, thanks a lot . But seriously, i am not that bothered. Winter's coming, i just want it on the road. Maybe in the spring/summer i'll do it properly. Anyway, look at the amount of threads recently about "my car's just been keyed/ smacked into/ gobbed on" etc. I didn't get a supra to sit on the drive and impress people, or for me to worry sick about every time i leave it parked somewhere. Don't get me wrong, i totaly appreciate why people like to polish their cars every weekend and keep them clean (check out my audi in my garage), but i'll take it either way, the supras for driving
  2. Heating's covered mate, got 2 big fan heaters to get the temp up before i paint.
  3. Ha, i think i was joking when i told you Darryl. Funny hiow things turn out, eh.
  4. The front is covered by the way, and there's a floor down in it . The pics were taken before it was finished. In case you're thinking i'm a muppet that can't paint for shit, i used to work here............ http://www.pageantpaintwork.co.uk/homev1.htm
  5. I got 3 litres of Satin Black sitting in the shed.
  6. No worries, Seeriously though, i'm not that bothered about how shiney it is. I just want to drive it, tune it, take it to Pod.
  7. Looking good Darryl. This thread could come in very handy later. You'll have to take me for another spin next time we meet, so i can see the difference
  8. Think you missed the point mate, i ain't building no show car.
  9. Now that i've finaly got round to repairing my car and sourcing all the bits to rebuilding it, the only thing left to do is paint the mother. Choices are....keep it off the road while i save a couple of grand to get it done (no chance), put it back together as it is and drive around in a half primer/filler multicolour combo (rather not)....or, use my previous bodyshop experience to give it a coat myself (BINGO) Only problem is, premises. As in, i have none. Not being the sort of person to let a little thing like this get in the way, i've decided to build my own on the drive. I just needed 8 panels of site fencing, one ginormous roll of thick poly sheet, and a big bag of cable ties. Lucky for me i knew a man that had these very items available So, take one sorry looking Supra, cage the beast in metal fencing, wrap it up in poly sheet, fasten down abundantly with cable ties...hey presto, Spray Booth! Edit: I've chucked in some pics (bottom row) so you can see how it started out.
  10. Nah, it's a runner! Just undergoing paint surgery
  11. Shameless highjack, i'm trying to flog one of these (uk) if anybody knows someone that's interested.
  12. Looked like the chute was deployed as he came off the line. Hard to believe the guy's ok. I hope it's correct that he is.

    Couple of cool vids.

Indeed there was a few. Not "a couple" as previously stated by myself. Infact, it should have been headed "a trio of cool vids"
  14. Fitting heading on the newspaper.

  16. Best check this place out before you let them loose on your car. Just because he recomended them doesn't mean they'll be any good. What a nobhead anyway, shite luck mate.
  17. I remember a thread on here about this car a while ago. Think it got shot down.
