The Battle of Britain fascinates me big time. Imagine it, up at the crack of dawn to a bacon and egg breakfast, then sit on your wicker chair next to your Spitfire smoking your pipe and reading your paper, waiting for the bell to ring signaling that it's time to scramble into the air and give Jerry a bloody nose. I would have loved to have flown those planes. But knowing my history with vehicles, i probably would have plummeted to my doom!

Trafalgar, thats the one i was i thinking of. When you say help in the Battle of Britain, what do you mean? I know we had people from other countries join the RAF.

My mates band were looking for a bassist, so just went for it. Guitarists were ten a penny in Norwich, but hardly any bassists!

I started playing guitar and bass about 14 years ago, and ended up concentrating on bass. I spent quite a lot of time touring in my last band gigging all over uk and ireland, which was fun. I think that before you try too hard to follow tab or whatever, it's best to just play around and jam to songs that you are listening to on your stereo (as long as you know how to tune your guitar the same as whatever it is you are listening to) This way you get to know your way around your guitar and develop your technique. Here's me rocking out in my hey-day, and a pic of my mates les paul copy that i painted for him....

Yeah who knows. Could well be, and quite possibly is, but seems odd. Maybe one day, we might just find out:shrug:

Don't spose you know if the shocks for the front are the same as a TT?

Seems a bit of a waste of time stripping all the masking off and re-fitting everything after primeing to go on the road, only to have to strip it all and mask it all up again for top coat. Plus, primer absorbs moisture unlike top coat paint and unless it's baked out it will affect the finish.
