New disc, pads and braided lines fitted all round, now for the stereo install!

New stereo fitted. Chuffed with the fitment sits nicely into the dash without sticking out to much. Routed the USB connection into the centre arm box, just need a grommet to lock it in properly and then I'm going to put some foam i to it, and cut out the shape of my phone so it can fit snugly into it.

Car is now in the hands of Chris Wilson. Hopefully after he has looked over it the car is deemed a 'good un'!

 

Current work being carried out is:

 

Pre-facelift engine mounts and brackets being fitted

Coolant Flush with Toyota red

New Iridium Platinum plugs

New genuine Toyota rear brake shoes being fitted

picked the Supra back up today from Chris, had a few extra bits done for peace of mind, so its now had:

 

Pre facelift engine mounts and brackets fitted

New rear brake shoes - Toyota

New Cambelt - Toyota

New water pump - Toyota

New Aux Belt - Toyota

New Belt tensioner - Toyota

Full Coolant fluid flush - Toyota Red

New spark plugs - Iridium Platinum

New wheel nuts (had cheapo ones on and some had started to round off)

Head gasket sniff test - All clear!!

Under tray bolts

 

Self service items done:

New brake disc and pads all round

New Wezmoto braided brake lines

Full brake flush

 

Mileage at this point - 93K

 

Feel better having got some of these service it's done for peace of mind.

 

Thanks again to Chris, excellent work on the car and for putting up with my constant barrage​ of questions!

 

Will gladly take my car to Chris again should anything crop up that needs sorting!

Decided to just tart up the front calipers today whilst it's absolutely beautiful.

 

Nothing to fancy literally just some of that e tech caliper paint. At some point may end up getting them taken off to be done properly but either way they look miles better than what they did. Nice and fresh.

 

Luckily the Supra decals just fitted with a tiny bit of trimming, the LS400 calipers have the metal band in the middle that sticks out a bit but they just went on ok!

Decided to give the car a good clean, full polish with autoglym super resin and then a waxing off Colinite 476 Com up a treat, shame the sun had disappeared was hoping to get some sun shots!!

Even managed to tidy up and route the stereo USB cable so can just plug phone straight in now without it rattling about everywhere!!
