Cheap inter cooler ??

Had my ebay one for nearly 4yrs, defintley cant gripe for the cost, its well made and does the job well imo, branded doesnt always mean they are good quality ;)

I've also had an eBay intercooler on my na-t years ago and couldn't fault it. Tbh some of these 'custom' made intercoolers I see traders selling look exactly the same as ebay intercoolers but triple the cost!

I'm probably going to get flamed for this, but the reason they are cheaper is the components used for the core etc are cheaper and not as good at cooling/won't last as long/etc as the more expensive ones.

If it works and it's in your budget range and your happy then I see no problem. Personally I would opt for an SRD, Whifbitz or Chris Wilson SMIC (if your not after the bling factor) as these have all been extensively tested and work a treat with good quality cores etc.

Just my 2p worth, but as I said, buy what makes you happy, at the end of the day it's your car. :)

Same thing with radiators. A badge is added and the price goes up.

 

I got a CW one that was second hand, but it still looked fine.
