Today police stop me because my exhaust is too loud ! And he give me 30 punds ticket It's that possible if one guy say it's too loud (I also must change for standard one hahahaha) or I can do something with that ?

It's quite possible for one guy to say anything is too loud, for example I think my colleague is talking too loud on the phone right now.

I thought they had to refer you to a testing station before you got a ticket? i have heard of cop cars carrying noise measuring equipment/box's but not very often.

i got pulled once for mine being too loud, at that exact moment a tvr tuscan flew by howling...I looked at the copper and politely said are you going to pull him too? or am i going to have to take this further. he scrapped the ticket and told me to drive carefully.

you have a choice. Take a fine or defect form which you have to goto a mot station to have them test it.

Same as if you have a cracked headlight, small plate etc. You can take the fine and risk it if you wish but normally a fine works out a bit cheaper and less hassle than sorting out a partial test at your local mot station.

The police did a night of cracking down in oswestry near me last month. Picking out hatch backs with young drivers only according to the local rag which went along for the evening:d Apparently it was successfull and most chavs had major problems with their cars. Anyone driving a supra though probably would not have been targetted according to the report:)

yeah flames, had once An MIJ system on my last supra, decated with restrictor ring, it popped flames between gears changes and when i booted it. bit strange but hey nevermind, sounded lovely.
