Gene, possibly UNTIL the reference about doing 177mph came up. As has been said, gearing prevents that, never mind aerodynamic drag coming in long before that and the NA not having enough grunt to push past that. I no there are a few supras on here in excess of 180 etc (TT's) They have a low drag coefficient, but a huge frontal area- that's why the Mclaren f1 can do 223mph with just 640bhp, it's frontal area is minute. Supras that do a similar speed all have over a thousand horsepower. Could my TT auto do 177? Maybe after a few laps of Nardo proving ground.
