I honestly dont even know the difference...

 

Alloy = light but not as strong as chrome moly steel.

 

Bolt in = good, but weld in = better

 

Weld in = a lot more work & removal means cutting it out.

 

Go for alloy bolt in if weight is your main factor :D

The final weight saving that a lot of people forget about is the driver himself.

(Not trying suggesting you're a bit of a chubber by the way)

84kgs, 5'11ish

 

could probably lose some weight... but for the effort, its just not worth it! ;)
