I believe its actually FREE to just walk in to the place, its only if the car is coming in do they charge and then its really charging for camping over night, even though we are only in for the daytime its still the same charge. Based on the site plan from the organisers site plan from organisers I have come up with the following layout. Its based on each car having 2.2m wide and 5m long. That gives enough room to open doors etc. The layout gives us space for 100 cars. I have included the club gazeebo at the top. Branners Posted July 9, 2004 Share Posted July 9, 2004 the fields are fairly flat and even, you do need to be careful going off the road and on to the grass in some places, and theres a wicked little bridge just as you come through Billing that I scrape over but mines pretty much on the ground with a nur spec hanging down so if I can make it pretty much anything can. The space is mapped for 100 cars so if we go over that we may have problems anyway. btw, maps and directions are on the first page, scroll down a bit..I will work out the convoy points today. One slight problem is that the Little Chef at Bricket Wood has closed down, went past today and the windows are all boarded up, so I need to find a different location near Watford. The car park appears to be open at Bricket Wood but as I hadnt seen the Little Chef boarded up before I wonder how long the car park will stay open. The Chiswell Green one up the road will have to do, its got quite a bit of space behind the shell garage and added bonus...its right by the shell garage.
