Just me or is this guy dreaming....

It is black, low mileage, manual, looks in good nick. Not to my taste externally but some would love it. Maybe a bit ambitious but certainly nowhere near twice what it should be. Perhaps £9k-£10k would be more realistic. But hey, if the guy doesn't really need to get rid, but if the right offer comes along, then fair play. Maybe he just wants to know if anyone will pay that.

I'd have thought circa 10k would be quite reasonable, it's a good base car, make a few changes and it would be well sorted. (assuming the car itself is actually a goodun, can't tell that without actually going to look at it).

imho 6k for a TT is a joke, what else can you get for 6k these days ffs! and the supra is a whole lot of car for the money. I won't be selling mine for cheap like that and if no one will buy it when I come to sell then f*ck it, I'm keeping it for longer lol

underestimating the value of these cars because there are a few more around now and because they are older cars is seriously erroded their value. A well kept example should always fetch good money, these cars contain lots of very expensive bits to put right so one in top notch order should reflect that in the price, only the real dogs should sell for cheap and getting one will most likely be a false economy

:rlol: I knew someone would bite eventually.

Seriously though, ask a trader what they'd pay for it.

It's a 13 year old car now. In my mind we're reaching a point where there are more and more available of varying condition - usually modified and thrashed with all sorts ready to go wrong and dent your wallet. This puts a book value out of the window.

To command a high value (11/12k+) it would need to be totally original spec, low miles, non daily driver and have full history. This would then make it a collectable classic car with a decent value which should be sustained.

There aren't many that reach this criteria.
