Cheers to Millhouse for sorting the gear, cheers to Mawby for sorting out the car park tickets and cheers to the chef and chefette for doing the cooking. Top result all round. Nice to see a few more subtley modded cars to come. Hopefully it will get more and more popular as we go on especially as the Kent boys made the effort. Only worrying thing about it all is, as it got dark I was kinda impressed by the neon brigade especially Mid's in time with the music setup. It was pretty sunny all day so maybe I'd just caught the sun a tad, or maybe i'm turning to the 'dark' (or should that be 'light') side........... Green Peace Posted August 25, 2003 Share Posted August 25, 2003 A BIG BIG Thankyou to Millhouse n Mawby for what turned out to be a truly fantastic BBQ and Pub meet...made some new friends, saw some stunning Supras, bought some expensive Optimax on way down...(worth every penny) What a great turnout...missed a few people, but that can't be helped.... took some pics on a mates SLR as soon as I get them back from Tesco's I'll post them up...Do I get a free Tesco carrier bag I wonder ? Thanks Had a really good day...I'm home and still buzzin...so much so I had to stop at the Wild Bean Cafe for a Cafe Latte.. I love you all... darlings! Great meet at Jnctn 7 especially when that Marcos turned up, very very nice car......great convoy to Lee-On-Solent with 7 Supes all managing to stay together. Even better convoy from the pub to the BBQ although it got a bit fragmented but glad we all managed to turn up together. Great weather and damn good BBQ, hats off to Dunk and Mrs Dunk and Scooter for the cooking, just glad we managed to get some charcoal...... Big thanks to Dunk, Mrs Dunk and Scooter for managing the cooking, and to Millhouse and Jive for organising the food. Not to forget Scooter (I think ) for bringing the drinks. We did the Supra community proud on Sunday! I've gone and uploaded the photos I took onto my website, including some of the green neons. Just click on "Toyota Supra" on the top menu followed by "Toyota Supra Photos" on the left menu, then click on the "mkivsupra.net" folder and finally click on the "Hampshire meet and barbecue" folder to get to them. Millhouse, where's the video footage! I wanna see the look on that coppers face! And did anyone get a photo at the Shell petrol station? That was class, we pratically filled the station to the amazement of the few people already there! So is this to become a regular event? I'm more than happy to start organising the next meet for late September early October if people are interested? You never know, I might even have my bloody wheels on the car by then!
