It would also cost considerably more than a single piece of vinyl. If you don't like it then nobody is forcing you to use them, oh and they have been the same for years. The multi layer vinyls are better, and last year was the first time I used the printed one's. I used to get mine from Darren's vinyl chap and they were superb and believe the cost was almost the same. I found the printed vinyls more difficult to fit as the top layer was to strong to detach and not flexible enough to go round the contours of the car.
