marc_p
Hi guys, Does anyone on here know where is the best place to take my single to be mapped on a Motec ECU? I'm having a local mappers map it so I can get it MOT'd and drive it, but I want the best of the Motec mappers when it comes to putting a proper map on it. Cheers Marc

j_jza80
Dimitri There's also a place at Darlington (IIRC) that has an excellent reputation, I'll see if I can find the details. May also be worth asking Ryan for a recommendation. Edited January 15, 2014 by j_jza80 (see edit history)

mattdavies
I know they produce some very good Drag motorbikes and they use Motec, BigCC racing in Wokingham

JamieP
I'd use Ryan, but if you want the number 1 Motec mapper then try Shane Tecklenburg, he is in the UK a fair amount or can remote map it.

marc_p
Thanks for all the responses guys, all taken on board and I shall be contacting each one by one for availability and costs, location isn't an issue as the car will be touring the country in a couple of months for fabrication work, suspension setup, paintwork, etc, just the little bits I can't do myself(or at least to the best result). Chris Wilson
Dave Rowe or Fraser MacKellar. Rowe does my Motec ecu's. NOT cheap, NOT easy to pin down, but he does world class race engines in mega money cars, and rarely blows one Fraser is more than capable, too, he also is trusted with some nice stuff, like these toys in Brazil, where he regularly goes to "work" http://www.gatesgarth.com/Brazil/Thumbnails.html Nice work if you can get it. Yes, that's Emerson Fitipaldi, and other assorted F1 guys. Being taken for dinner in the family jet is kind of a nice perk....
