Pics of the Car & What to do next?

Agree with Abz here.

Car looks spot on the way it is, engine compartment looks fine too - money spent here on flashy bits are a waste IMO. Interior is where I would consider spending money and on maintenance (Oil, LSD, V160, Brakes, etc... - when and if required)

Personally not convinced that the facelift rear lights will suit your car - I think they look nice on grey or white cars and perhaps Red.

Wheels are a personal choice - ones you currently have look good, although a set of TTE would give the car a slightly more aggressive yet classic look.

I used 2 of Hecklers PCB's to tap into the brake lights for my fogs. My brake lights work as normal, when I flick the fog light on I have 1 red light on each side. I could have 2 lights either side if I wired it before they split into 2 on the loom.

What to do next really depends on what condition all the mechanical parts, fluids and

tyres are in, brake calipers, brake lines, diff cooler, radiator, aircon rad, engine hoses,

brake fluid, engine oil, atf, psf, coolant etc

Cosmetics should be the last thing to start altering, i'd bin the blue hoses and go back to black

personally and as i said a new set of wheels would be on my shopping list but that's purely a personal

thing and they look fine as they are.

Thanks for the comments guys.

Some really interesting responses. I hadn't even noticed the angle of the FMIC for example.

I'll look into facelift lights (might try borrow some to try them).

In terms of brakes etc, its currently running: DBA 5000 2 Piece Slotted discs (front), Porterfield R4S and DBA 4000 Slotted discs (rear)with Porterfield R4S. Goodridge brake lines all round.

Maybe a daft question but is the passenger window disable button pressed down?

Hello Nick. Not seen you online in ages.

It wouldn't surprise me if that was it and I'll check tomorrow morning but I think it is the wire. It was originally the switch that was broker and when I replaced the switch I realised that someone had been messing with the connectors etc.

I was considering changing my tail lights to facelift, but I actually prefer the pre-facelift lights nowadays. Something about the grey surround on the facelift lights looks like a Halfords sticker kit.

Im with you on this. I do like facelifts but I think they only suit certain colours of supra. Silver looks great with them but blue and black cars not so nice.

Fit some OEM 17's. Get it looking as it left the factory and preserve its value.

I'm guessing the active spoiler is fixed in place? I'd sort any mechanical bits which are showing their age, and then enjoy the car. :)

I've been in this trap since owning my UK spec, but have decided to stop thinking about the resale value as I'll be taking it to the grave. :)

That doesn't mean to say that I'll be fitting a full veilside kit though. ;)
