I'm in Surrey, so from yours you'd have to drive around the M25 past Whifbitz to get here then turn around and go back half the way again! Less than ideal!! My first day with my car back! Its been the longest 6 weeks I've experienced for a LONG time waiting for the moment... To be honest, I haven't really had the chance to properly open her up and go nuts, partly due to the horrendous traffic on the M25 on the way back home from Whifbitz (standard... ) and partly due to the fact I needed to get my new seats in. Paul wanted my stock ones for another build, which suited me fine as it means I haven't got to try and sell them, store them, courier them, etc... Hence "needed" to get the new ones in rather than just "wanted" to! I got home at around 2PM and started work right away. I managed to get my seats (and harness and harness bar) in, but it was a hard-fought battle! Typically, it then started to hammer with rain (at least it held off while I was doing the work though - that would've been uber-emotional!) when I went to go out for a proper test drive this afternoon. That meant that I spent most of the time sideways down the centre of various dual carriageways in the dark, even on part throttle. Don't get me wrong, that was LOTS of fun ( ) but I'm yet to fully appreciate the power I think! I've got a late day at work tomorrow sadly (shooting in the dark requires it to be night... ) but as soon as I get a chance I'll be out getting some vids etc. Right now I'm off to sign up for that tunnel run in London this weekend... Can't wait to fully experience the power - the noise of the engine at idle is cool enough right now, so the speed must be truly intoxicating!
