Westy
eBay is the cheapest for the OEM filter...£10.99 delivered!
stevie_b
This comes up regularly. Unless you have a good reason to do otherwise, fit an OEM one that's designed for the engine you've got. Oil filters aren't expensive: I had a feeling they were less than £10 from a Toyota dealer but I might be wrong.
Westy
£12-13 from my local mr Toyota. Can't mind the exact price, but just bought one a month or so ago then noticed they were cheaper on eBay!?

sideexitsupra
I have K&N on mine, as used by the Whifbitz race cars. Has the advantage that it is secured by a normal bolt.

Benjy
Why on earth risk an uknown filter from ebay or anywhere else when a genuine one from Toyota is only a tenner I don't get it either! I get customers asking me to fit real poor quality parts, even if there's only a couple of quid difference. Madness! I'm sure Toyota knew what they were doing when they designed their filters. If you're that worried just put a filter magnet on it.
