At least 60KG I would have thought, still I have cut two vents in the bonnet to compensate :D

Never going to be a fast car in this set up anyway, its only BPU remember

i would say take the hole bonnet off lol plus noting wrong with bpu :)

Did not say there was anything wrong with BPU, its just not built for speed more for cruising and as I have over a 1000 miles to do next week thought that might be a good idea, nothing that can not be undone for the single conversion later this year

nice project mate, but I cant help but think why did you not just go single in the first place?

Never ment to take the BPU this far to be honest mate, the project has changed over the months, I wanted a cheap TT6 BPU but that has changed now, car is single ready with exception of a clutch and a single kit

Just got back from SRR and would like to say a big thank you to Dean for putting up with me basically tagging along and being nosey trying to guage ideas for my next car. They say you learn something new every day and thanks to Ryan I should safely be able to avoid thinking until at least the end of the month.

Beautiful car Dean, great job Dave, and Ryan, you're a very clever man!

I'll pop a few pics up shortly.

Very long day and as always with mapping a rollercoaster of a day

Remember this car was brought for just 4K with a whole bunch of issues, Dave has worked a miracle once again and has turned a tired old Supra into a real headturner, so firstly well done to him

The car was only finished this morning and Ryan fitted the Syvecs including traction control, knock sensor etc, the base map loaded it was taken to Surrey RR where after a few little niggles including a broken boost solenoid (replaced with Syvecs), blowing off a boost pipe and a 1bar restrictor ring that was actually 0.7bar (Ryan removed this in the end)the car was mapped to a very safe 1.2bar

Results 420BHP fly and 450 ftlb torque, very happy with this for now, drives superb, very impressed with the traction control and launch control

The exhaust which is 2.5" is a little restrictive and the intake needs to be ducted to protect from the heat but otherwise a faultless day and one I am very happy with

I will get some pics up once I have had some dinner !!

ALL READY FOR DRAGONBALL !!
