Redline Magazine- RIP

Style

Recommended Posts

I've worked in sales and media for 12 years. Its definitely getting tougher, adverts are having to be sold for less and yields dropping. The magazine i run is in a niche market and going well, which is why im suprised a market leader like Redline has fallen

yeah think we goin into another recession a lot of companies forecasting losses for coming quarter... :( Have to tighten belt this Xmas...

It's hard to say really, though it is important that people stay positive. Negative speculation really doesn't help!

IMO we really need to be investing in manufacturing at the moment, and hopefully BAEs likely $11 billion sale of Typhoon aircraft and manufacturing will be a nice boost. Look how Germany's economy has managed to cope thus far, which is often credited to their massive manufacturing industries.

I'm still confident that the austerity measures were the correct thing to do though. It was always going to be hard to start with, but in 2 or 3 years time we should be in a much better position.

Back on topic though, it's sad to see Redline go, best wishes to the staff and good luck for the future.

I only ever buy Banzai, JP or Redline...but out of the three Redline is the one that I have most of as it is the most informative and best written!

I usually only buy the mag if there is a Supra featured...maybe other mags should take note of this and feature cars with the biggest OC followings!:)
