When I've got all the parts together and go BPU, I'm going for 10 pages on it just 'cause you hate it lol. no coz if they did release it with 500bhp like myself you probaly wouldnt ba able to afford 1, they would be rarer as less sold and the new price probly would have been double so a second hand 1 that cost 10k now would more likely be 30k. and the think your self lucky was aimed at the peeps who are scared of stockers. for peeps like me ive gotta buy 1 and spends loads modifying like yourself. Ah yeah, that's true. They would have been less available and most probably would have been written off by now I'm not going to spend loads of mine. I've bought a boost controller, I just need a second decat, a FCD (which I've been offered but I don't know what's happening with) and a SMIC (probably Whifbitz one) then that's me done. j_jza80 Posted March 11, 2011 Share Posted March 11, 2011 here's a scarey thought for all that think the stock tt is scarey. the tt cars were origanlly gonna be released with 500bhp but toyota deemed it to much and thought they would struggle to sell them. the engine can cope with over 600 bhp stock and the 6 sp gearbox 650 bhp straight out the crate the basic car was completly detuned but left strong for tuning. think your self lucky that a stocker only has about 290-300 import & uk version 326. That's wrong. The reason it has circa 300hp as stock is because of the manufacturers agreement in Japan. The reason the engine and gearbox are so strong is that they were contracted out specialists. fastcar Posted March 11, 2011 Share Posted March 11, 2011 I most admit the first time I got in my supra I did say that the chassie felt like it could handle 5 to 600BHP without any problem. Abz Posted March 11, 2011 Share Posted March 11, 2011 I was quite scared of my stock TT when I first got it, didn't help the camber was off. Even after driving hot exotica, the Supra has just a burst of power! I got used to the power after a bit. I must be the worst passenger, as i just cant handle not being in control of something being driven quick! Same here. My mate drives like a total loon. He once crashed 5 times in a day. He drives a Vectra at the moment and tried to jump over a blind hill earlier with my brother in the car and almost lost control doing 90. He's looking to buy a 350z. I'm looking to put him off..
