Thought I'd give you guys a little update! Instead of fitting hybrid twins, I've just put a deposit down on this...

:D

Thanks to Adrian and Tony_TT for the deal and helping me out on this! I owe you two a pint! :D

The hybrids will be up for sale at the end of this month once they get delivered for anyone who's interested :)

Now the blocks got to be sent away to the machine shop to be decked then once it comes back and I have some spare cash I'll be buying the following...

Acl bearings

ARP head stud kit

ARP con rod bolt kit

OEM piston rings

TT Oil Pump

For the single I'll be buying the following...

AEM EMS ( probably V2!)

Siemens 850cc top feed injectors

High flow fuel rail

SARD FPR and Gauge

SuperSpark Coilpacks

Brian Crowler Cams ( unsure what ones yet!)

I'm still deciding what else to buy yet but those are a definite!

Get the block dipped whilst its bare and clean the shit out of it with hot, soapy water.

I intend to mate, then give it a once over with some high temp paint! :)

Experience tells me you knock out all the core plugs and have a look inside the water jackets before spending money on that block, it's been run for a LOOOOONG time with no corrosion inhibitor in it and the water jackets could be very nasty, giving thin bore walls. If that's the case I'd find another block. Even a converted N/A block is better than something badly internally corroded. Hope it's OK for you, but better to know now than after it's decked and bored.
