It's just supporting a huge business - I don't understand what you're part of it you're actually supporting. Manchester United? Isn't is only Paul Scholles and Gary Neville that are from Manchester? How many players even from from England? I don't get it, for me, it's whoever has the deepest pockets and how can that be something to support? At least with watching England, you can actually link the players to the name. I can understand enjoying watching the game, but devotion to a massive club is something I don't. As for the hooligans, it would have only took one person to graffiti that boarding - doesn't do the reputation of fans in general any good though. People who it waaay too seriously are probably who put me off football at a young age. It starts in the playground at school. During a kickabout, someone will scream at you for making a mistake. Some kids think they're playing at Old Trafford when in reality they're kicking a ball around a bit of open ground with jumpers as goalposts. They look ready to start crying or throw all their toys out the pram when something goes wrong.
