that looks lush, was it expensive ?

Yes, VERY expensive. It was a lot more than just a re-paint (even then the paint cost something like £1.5k)

I guess they're still messy from the original botch paint job that muppet did for me?

Yeah, they didn't get any better with age either!

looks like a nice job, liking the overall look, but still think the rear end above the numberplate looks a little odd and the wheels are either two wide or the arches are too smal on the rear..

Fair played though that is one transformation..

FANTASTIC LOOK! one thing, youve gone for carbon spoiler blade, imo you need a carbon hood, i remember this outside my house when jezz had it, cf hood really set that of, or paint the lip for that american stlye...even as it is now, i love it!

The side repeaters were put there for the MOT, but they are needed for safety reasons. Rob and I have the same dilema on where to hide them away!

It already has a CF hood :D

The original plan was to have the spoiler painted the same colour as the rest of the car, but there was a bit of confusion between Rob and KR on that. KR replaced the blade of the done spoiler with a new carbon one and left it as is. It looks pretty good with the CF blade so Rob decided to leave it like that.
