if it breaks it breaks. lol. i just hope my bloody gearbox box doesn't start playing up again. Times if the car is stuck in traffic for a while it doesn,t want to rev out up the gears and upshift, i think the fluid is getting to warm so i'm going to stick a second cooler with a fan on it and change the atm fluid and if it plays up again i'm going to have a autobox bonfire when i get home and get it pulled out of her! lol

Not sure if I can make the rolling road day as looks like I have to work even though I had the week off. It's a long story but the Sunday Mirror (my full time job) and the Daily Mirror have amalgamated into one company. I was the only Sunday Mirror person not to be made redundant so I can't complain. Anyway if I can't make Sunday hopefully someone can take a few pix of cars on the rollers then I'll see you all at Bishopscourt. I'm not racing down the strip as my car is still going funny (spluttering and missing) after my FPR packed up. I have a new Turbosmart FPR fitted and getting new fuel filter fitted on Tues so hopefully that will clear up the problem or I might need a tow to Bishopscourt LOL

Have you been speaking to Wayne Darragh to see if we need to be there first thing, or whether there's a meet/photos/drive in Newcastle on Sunday morning first?

 

Also, big Neil's pm'd about meeting up Sunday morning for the drive down, anyone else interested in meeting up pipe up and we can arrange a place that suits everyone. Most direct route for me is through Comber and Downpatrick, but I'm up for meeting somewhere else if it's handier to go another route.

Very concerned about the RR day. So far I have had virtually no feedabck as to who is actually going to get dyno'd.

It costs torquetronix a fair bit to put the day on, firstly not doing any other businness that day, hiring portaloo's etc, getting a food stand, throphy's, and if 6 decide to RR and the rest stand and watch and make excuses, then the day will be a failure.

IF I dont receive feedback that there will actually be a large number of those going using the RR, this bit will have to be cancelled. I am not going to be responsible for torquetronix taking a hit on the day.

General feedback has been a long list of names (half of which are unconfirmed) and no confirmation of participation.

BTW dyno @ torquetronix is £30. The idea is not to be the biggest horsepower of the day as we all know who's going to get that, but to see how your motor is performing over the rev range.

If a big enough entry then classes can be established for NA ,TT, singles, etc

I'm doing the rollers and Racing as I'm already in trouble with it being the girlfriends birthday lol although I can't hnag about all day Saturday for this reason but yes I'm up for the rollers

 

Ill phone Wayne later on and get an idea as to whenthe racing starts if it starts later in the afternoon I'll arrange for a supra meet ip point close to Belfast then we head down to Newcastle for the ohotoshoot but as Ernie has said it's no good if people stand and watch instead of entering there cars lol gt them in the rollers and get them down the drag strip ven wayne has said he will do us the price cheap but then no one has confirmed who is racing either (well a few of us have lol)

My car is actually at ssi now getting a new gearbox and torqe convertor fitted as the last was dead lol so I'm expecting some good results this weekend
