I never had a problem changing my rubbers, heard a lot of horror stories but it took me probably 20 minutes at the most. I just cut away the rubber with a stanley knife just leaving the screws exposed, heated them up with a small chef's blow torch which melted the thread lock and then unscrewed the screws, then fitted the new rubbers. fastnfurious Posted May 1, 2011 Share Posted May 1, 2011 mine came off pretty easy, just some muscle job and voila! try using an extension for more leverage + apply penetrating lube on the bolts (let it soak for an hour or so)... best of luck dude! I inserted the screw driver gave a good whack on the head of the bolt to break the thread lock and with a lot of down force I slowly undid all the screws. evinX Posted May 7, 2011 Share Posted May 7, 2011 I got myslef some rubbers of ebay, threaded the screws so grinded the heads of, drilled them out and used a tap and die kit from halfords and got me some m5 or m6 quality allen bolts...
