To be fair, say you went out to show off your new Supra, you think it's the bollocks, you're not driving it because you've had a drink. There are chavs around looking at it and pointing, taking pics on their phones......

Exactly. I've met him, and he was really pleasent. Seems like most people on the forum take journalists word on everything.

Just read in my local paper that Jay Kay had his new Ferrari Enzo smashed up lastnight in some disturbance with someone at a hotel he was stopping at.It said that a witness earlier on in the evening driving a Toyota Supra was talking to him about fast cars.Anybody off here?

To ask after this bloke's Supra, Jay Gay must've been a little disconcerted by the Supra to acknowledge it in the first place!

Or maybe not, but its good to know it got noticed. I just hope it wasn't a Vileside. ;)

See this a lot on here, whats wrong with VS?

Cheers, the out of context random bits help spice up an otherwise dull topic :)

The highlight for me is where I just post a link to the thread that people are already reading, I'm a mentalist!

It's like groundhog day.....

He 'went pastry' :D

(I'm here all week, enjoy the veal etc.)

A Suffolk chef has admitted causing an estimated £30,000 damage to a £1m Ferrari belonging to Jamiroquai frontman Jay Kay.

Aaron Billington, 21, of Aldeburgh, admitted causing criminal damage to the Ferrari Enzo outside a hotel in the town where the singer had been staying.

Lowestoft Magistrates' Court heard Billington committed the crime in a "moment of madness" early on Tuesday.

He said he became upset by "offensive" remarks the singer made.

Robert Barnwell, prosecuting, said: "During the evening, witnesses in the case had been socialising with staff from the hotel.

"One witness describes the defendant as being arrogant towards Mr Kay.

"He later admitted in interview to drinking a bottle of vodka and being drunk prior to the incident.

"Another describes him as being more aggressive as the evening went on. They also say that Mr Kay appeared to not want to speak to him."

Mr Barnwell said Billington was seen "using swinging motions with his arms" as he threw stones at the car, shattering the windscreen and smashing the driver's side window.

Damien Moore, mitigating, said Billington told him he had been "sparked into a fit of anger" by the singer on Monday night - and caused the damage in the early hours of the following day.

"On this particular evening it was his night off," said Mr Moore.

"He was socialising with people, which included the complainant and others, and he says that, as the evening progressed, the complainant began making some comments which Mr Billington found to be deeply offensive.

"And he says that, because of the comments that were being made, he felt that there was an element of provocation which sparked him, essentially, into a fit of anger."

Mr Moore said Billington accepted he acted "totally inappropriately".

June Hutson, chairman of the magistrates, said the case would be committed to Ipswich Crown Court for sentence at a later date.

Billington was released on bail.

I hope they make an example of him, people who attack property when they have an issue with it's owner need to be taught a lesson.
