Mine is going ok so far, done about 8000miles or so and looked ok about 1800miles ago.

Jamie seemed to have a good one too - maybe their quality control is bad with a percentage of duff ones coming out amongst the rest. It is definitely a clutch with a poor reputation though. Sorry for the grief you are having with it Racman :(

Did you try changing the slave cylinder to the one recommended by Rinus?

After getting my Southbend Stage 3 clutch.. is the same problem, though it will fully release, when pressed all the way down. But is still hard to get into 1st and reverse.

Everything was changed, clutch, flywheel, bearings, snaprings, bolts. So are going to order this slave cylinder and see if that helps.

But it seems the supra, was not made for changing clutches.

Alot of talk have been on the RPS clutches about this issue, but nothing on the Southbend and alot are using them.

With Evos, 200sx`s, audi s2, Bmw M3` s, I have never heard any trouble with clutches even if you are using "different" brands, but the supra just seem to be very very picky about what works and not.
