I didn't get time today as they were collected to go off to Silverstone. I'll take some tomorrow though. Its not finished off properly yet though, function over style in this case.

Is there a benefit from ducting the air to the air-filter vs having the air-filter located in the front bumper?

Never tried in behind the bumper before, I'd imagine it gets very dirty very quickly down there though. Least in the engine bay its easy to remove to clean.

Nice one (again) boys :)

Now get along to Llandow. ;)

We'd like to believe me, its just time for us I'm afraid, the week after is Brands Hatch, we've got to do some testing in between now and then as well so its a bit difficult to fit everything in along with having a life! I'll have a word with Steve and see if we can sort something though.

Here you go, a couple of pics of the air intakes we knocked up the day before Silverstone. I'll be getting the bonnet intake smoothed in eventually and I'll also make up a proper intake for the pipe jammed in next to the towing eye. Definately works though, we created our own wind tunnel with an air line!

  • 2 weeks later...

Going to Snetterton this evening for a bit of track action, cant wait to get there!

Only thing I've changed is the rear tyre size, gone up to a 295/30 from a 285, hoping it wont rub anywhere, soon find out!

Got a plan for a new exhaust coming soon, its just to quiet for me! Should be doing something a bit different to the norm on the new one, I can tell you one thing, its going to be titanium and very light.

That'll be interesting. Keep us posted :) I have 285/30 and they do fine.
