lol, you're right, but you must also remember that I'm a newbie on this forum not to toyotas, cars or life. I have searched the forums many times and this has stopped me asking many silly q's. I realise you've heard it all b4 but possibly. just not answering with a tongue in cheek(which can come across as sarcastic) may be the best way in some instances. I realise unless you've made 5k posts here then you don't deserve an opinion.

thanks for your help anyway

Thanks, but wish I hadn't bothered now! I'm off to sulk in a corner for not being appreciated :D

Its using slang they don't seem to approve of, for example using 'u' instead of 'you' and '4' instead of 'for'

I was slated bout it when I was a freshman!

Bloody right too. That winds nearly everyone up, please don't do it again.

You kids these days and your modern lingo.

Sorry homer, I really do appreciate your help/opinions. I probably didn't word it correctly.

sometimes theres a good deal from a certain supplier. I definately don't want cheap ebay tat on my car. and sometimes someones tried something new/different that may suit me.

so I apologise for sounding like a defensive n00b. I'll try harder next time ;)

Thanks all

Rob

The HKS SSQV is the most popular BOV I sell and 'probably' the most popular fitted on members cars. There is a Supra specific kit that includes everything needed for the install, they are proven to be reliable, they use a pull valve so don't leak and compared to some other models they are pretty good value for money.

If you already have a hardpipe fitted you have 2 choices, you can either fit the kit specifically for the Supra; this replaces the standard BOV, or you can get a universal SSQV BOV and get a flange welded onto the hardpipe.

More BOV models here: http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=146441
