Stevo
Guys, as Scooter pointed out, he doesn't yet own this NA! Zky - if I were you I'd take that NA to be honest - it looks like it just left the factory in terms of how clean it looks (obviously not the mods). What issues are you having to consider in choosing between NA and TT? Is it just power vs lack of (ahem)? What I'm getting at is most people tend to know from the off that they want a TT. Conversely, most of those that buy NA do so for set reasons - e.g. daily runner, insurance, increased reliability etc etc...

Scooter
just an 'Oz' observation but i looked at their Autotrader site earlier and they do not seem to be hindered by the same 10 year import rule that we are?.....................it made me think that with so few supras made in 99-00 that barely any more will make it over here............ Guest zky
Oh and welcome to the club by the way! Were abouts in Oz are you? Thanks, I live in Perth. Its for DD, insurance doesnt bother me too much as the different in less than 50 quids but the fact that the TT is a tiptronic that bothers me. Been driving in my Celica [an auto] for 3 years then I converted it to manual and I gotta say manual is so much more fun in these cars plus the extras that come with the NA are hard to resist just an 'Oz' observation but i looked at their Autotrader site earlier and they do not seem to be hindered by the same 10 year import rule that we are?.....................it made me think that with so few supras made in 99-00 that barely any more will make it over here............ We actually have a 15 years import rule, not too sure abt the rules myself but alot of Supras made their way over here, even the 2001 ones:rolleyes:. At this stage I think Im gonna go with the NA, will probably try to do a TT swap in abt 2-3 years time, ohh btw does anyone have a complete active spoiler kit for sale? Ive just finished watching the brochure clip and I gotta say its a very nice feature.

Guest zky
Im pissed, the dealer sold the supra on me just because Im a interstate buyer, although I told him that Ill put down the deposit the next day. Even called me up and offered me one of his other cars.[ANGRY][/ANGRY] Theres another TT VVTi Tip supra for sell, I might have a look at that...BTW did anyone on this forum succeed in adapting paddle shifter to the tiptronic version??
