No not the problem, but what boost readings at what rpm are you seeing when you are having the problem.

I get about 0.7-0.8 bar in first gear, if I push it with the TC off, it does seem to come in but later in the rev-range than normal. Seems to be a lot of people experiencing the same issue.

I will give that a go aswell ,does anyone else get this ...for example if I am in fourth give it some beans to so it builds up 1.2bar but not hold it flat out in 4 but change into 5th early then the exhaust note changes for around 3 seconds where there is no boost while something happens then I can hear the turbo spool again is this normal even if I keep my foot on the acc in the same place ? hard to explain really

If you're not getting the second turbo running in then may be worth giving the Iacv valve a bit of a clean up, also giving the egbv a clean whilst you're at it :) The egbv is the most likely cause

I had this until I fitted my Greedy boost controller. I can therefore only surmise that it was the VSV?

Yeah, or at least the one at the front of the engine. I'm not very good with knowledge on the numerous valves and actuators on the turbo system but this worked for me.

Thanks I will give it a go , problem is I have a 1.2bar r-ring so my ebc I have not plugged it in but I guess if I plug it in and leave it set to off it will still bypass the vsv for me

Further to this thread, mine has started doing it since having hybrids fitted. Someone else mentioned it doing it after fitting a fmic. I reckon a change in induction system may benefit an ecu reset. Ill do it tonight and report back.

I tried that , it did not work hope it does for you though
