far
Is anyone else thinking of going to Zimbabwe, buying a sniper rifle and taking a headshot at this fecker? I dont know why no one has taken him out yet. Civil unrest and one persons dictatorship (Saddam Hussain) in Iraq was enough to cause two wars and the deaths of hundreds of our soldiers... maybe if Zimbabwe was oil rich Bush & Co would have been more proactive:search: http://publiuspundit.com/mugabe.gif

Homer
If they had any inherent wealth they would be a target for the West (i.e. the US) Once the food supply problems become more of an issue in future years the country and other African nations will face similar pressure from west to change their political agendas. If they don't yield then it'll be the middle east all over again.. except perhaps the people will be a little happier to see their leaders gone (or is that just Zimbabwe?) Sharpie
How is wind speed and direction assessed when using something like that ?
Kranz
Very very carefully A better explanation of the clock system and velocity estimation http://www.rifleshootermag.com/shooting_tips/determing_wind_values/ Or just hold a piece of paper, grass, cotton, or some other light material at shoulder level, then drop it. Then point at the spot where it lands and divide the angle between your body and arm by 4. This gives the approximate wind velocity in miles per hour!! Bizarre but true
j_jza80
That's a hefty calibre rifle you got there. I think it might take out more than his head! Is it supposed to pierce armour too?

Doubt taking him out won't achieve much, if anything. Everyone in his party is just as corrupt so his shoes will be quickly replaced by another. Shadow Beast
Yeh its one hell of a weapon, i was hitting my objective at distances out to 1100m, the the energy of this rifle is 33,000ft/lbs! not bad when a standard air rifle is 12ft/lbs. There is a number of different rounds that can be used but AP ones are common as they do whats required of them, its got one hell of a kick thats for sure. richie

Now that got some serious fire power. It is unbelievable what's happening in Zim, and I'm amazed that no-one has tried taking him out. If someone replaces him, then they would be in the firing line. Maybe their regime would start to implode in that case. Its sorry state of affairs when the west is only interested in the oil producers.
