it came to a head when i could only go faster than that young whipper snapper (pig) on the straights, and he would lose me big time around the bends:(

That could just be a fitness thing though Gaz. I was struggling in some of the corners due to my back, i don't consider myself too old :)

No im pretty intimidated by my car also LOL (especially since my accident) On high boost and sub 60 the kick down is just unbelievable plus the only traction control i have is my right foot :D:eyebrows:

But i think that the car keeps me young :D

yep:)

It's probably as you become older you have more responsibilities, and are more aware of the consequences that things can have.

Therefore subconsciously you probably hold yourself back where previously you wouldn't have worried.

a pair of slippers and a pipe and you'll be fine;)

You know that will come back to haunt you, don't you?

As IanC puts it so well. If RL is kicking in you're driving too fast for the conditions (or your car set-up).

I read somewhere that you should do something every day that scares you......so keep it up.:D

That's what credit card statements are for :D

When you start moaning about how uncomfortable and loud your car is, and how much the petrol costs etc, THEN it's time for a change mate. Plus if it didn't scare you then you'd think it wasn't fast enough ;)
