Havard
He has never driven it before even though he has been insured on it since I got it! Basically he has faffed about that much in choosing his new company car that his Merc C220Cdi went back this week and he didn't have a new car on order. He has gone for a Saab 9-3 Vector in the end. He rang me the other day to ask if I minded if he used the Supra for a day or two. I lied and said it wasn't a problem. He then tells me that he may get a bill for the Merc from the lease company as all the alloys were badly kerbed..... He is under instructions that if he kerbs my alloys then I want my inheritance now...... He took the car about an hour ago and rang me to say that he'd made it home (5 miles) without incident..... I didn't think it would bother me this much but I am now worried. My father and cars do not have a good history. As he drove up the street I had a funny feeling that I wasn't going to see her again in one piece......... H.

Havard
Whats the worst that can happen I go to jail for the brutal murder of my father. Bludgeoned to death with a 12" ruler or anything else I could put my hands on as the red mist takes over. My alloys are immaculate and had to have one refurbished the day after I kerbed it on the pancake run last year. As I did it Cadbury's Purple looked at me in his rear view mirror. He later admitted that my upset face had frightened him!! Luckily he will only use it on Friday and Saturday as he will have a little Fiesta hire car until then. It will be on his drive until he needs it. He joins me in Portugal on Sunday and we go on Thursday morning. I just hope when I see him, he doesn't ruin my holiday!! H. Sure i trust me Dad , he's been driving a long time and has a history of fast cars and bikes but the supra , no way I have 4 people insured on mine. The missus, Ste D and my dad. Luckily Ste D now has his own and the missus hardly uses it. My dad is the only one not to use it in 14 months!! H.
juanchan
It'll be fine I reckon I let my Mum drive mine the last time I was up north and it came back without a scratch on it! She did admit to attempting to put her foot down, but backed off as she started to get scared
Pot
I know how you feel, when I was banned last year, my Sup was garaged, but every couple of weeks me and my Dad took her out for a drive, I got to drive her around a tiny private car park (As I was banned, Drink Drive if anyone asks), and he took her out on the roads, I was sat next to him, but I was still $|-|!tt!ng myself, after all my Sup is dear to me, and he's used to his Merc C200 auto... I had to remind him to get out of 4th when he was trying to hill start, bless him...
colsoop
I let my father look after mine while i was overseas. Upon my return he told me tails of the back end stepping out and how the back gets a bit loose when the 2nd turbo comes online

Havard
Have you called him yet? No more incidents? Part of me doesn't want to know Graham... I also don't want to ring him and show that I am really anal about my car... I don't mind showing it on here as there are people on here who are worse than me when it comes to their car! H. Havard
But don't you have some BMW or Mondeo he could use? No unfortunately, they are both company cars and he isn't insured on either of them so the Supe was his only option....
