Todd
Already have a SF lance from ebay but yours looks so much better, the ones from ebay come with a tiny bottle and you can "just" get round the whole car, the 1ltr bottle, 10 ltrs of snow foam and adjustment valve really does make this a cracking buy You take trade ins

Enough to do a whole Supra on the thickest setting, the Escort and the house windows I tend to just double up on one car though otherwise the neighbours start pointing and laughing. I asked exactly the same thing mate via PM, Pete's answer was : you only need about 20mm in the litre bottle , so it will last a long time , you might find that you dont use the whole litre as well, especially if your quick I'm sure Peter won't mind me quoting
peter richards
not at all, 10l will last you absolutely ages , dont forget you wont foam the car every time
L_800OST
what is the order of cleaning using this kit ? do you use the foam first then sponge it from the top downwards, then rinse off or...... for the best results ?
peter richards
yes it is a pre wash , it goes on first , please dont tell me you use a sponge lol once the car is covered you leave it dwell for a few minutes then rinse off . then wash the car as normal with a wash mitt , and whatever product you use
michael
what is the order of cleaning using this kit ? do you use the foam first then sponge it from the top downwards, then rinse off or...... for the best results ? Depends how filthy the car is but I foam > leave for 10 minutes (unless sunny when it starts to dry), then power wash it off so remove the grime, then bucket wash as usual and so on... it's a prewash stage. You can use it to clean the car in the way you describe but I'd do the soak and rinse first to get all the gritty nasties off before touching the car. Just add some wax free shampoo to the foam lance (about the same as snowfoam) and away you go

I bought one of these snow foam attachments from Ebay a few weeks ago ( it looks exactly the same as the gb one ) I tried it yesterday morning but it would'nt work with my Karcher JW ? Any ideas Peter or anyone ? I've got a Karcher 620m JW which i've had for a fair fw years now, perhaps thats the problem ? Cheers mark

cheekymonkey
Mine arrived today undamaged, thanks peter. Now, are there any guidelines on how best to use it? Do you need to dilute it before you but it in the tank on the lance, and is it OK to use every time you wash the car?

Do you need to dilute it before you but it in the tank on the lance, and is it OK to use every time you wash the car? Just stick a couple of cm's of the snow foam in the bottle and top up with warm water - you can pop a bit of shampoo in too but try it without first. Shampoo without wax is best if you do decide to try this - it's a bit like chemistry really to find your favourite mix The standard foam shouldn't strip any wax so you can use it on every wash... then for the house windows... conservatory... and everything else you can think of because it looks cool
Sharpie
where from Pete, and which model - I'm uhhming and ahhing at the moment Mike Well, I'm trying too..... http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?storeId=10001&mpe_id=13075&jspStoreDir=HalfordsConsumerDirect&identifier=Pressure+Washers+-+c955a71f&intv_id=63035&evtype=CpgnClick&langId=-1&catalogId=10151&ddkey=ClickInfo Halfords have a sale on for the K4.99M Deluxe for £109 which, you save £40 of their normal price. Standard price on t'ternet is ~£160-180. However, I have checked the Halfords stores from Liverpool to Lancaster to Bolton and Blackburn......ONLY the last two stores mentioned had one in...I reserved it and within 10mins they called to say that they had either been robbed or was a returned unit so, don't bother. All other Halfords stores say there is no availablity in the NW. :-( I might have to just for the K3.99M for £99 in the sale. (But, am holding out for the mo) I live down a dirt track now so, really need one at this time of year AND I want to order one of Pete's snow foams

Its been flamin raining every opportune moment I've had I'm getting assed of with UK flipping weather. Especially as all but my show car is covered in nastyness. I was going to treat my range rover to a soapyness and it flogged it down. Peter could you do me a favour and order up some decent weather?
