    New Tyres

think the tyre might have to be ZR or better therefore.
  2. Hey there, Anyone selling a set of Super Streets (top mounts not necessary but would consider) or a soft suspension set up (including top mounts). I'm swapping my track/good road stuff as you may have noticed. Ta, D
  3. now on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TEIN-Circuit-Master-Type-RA-Suspension-Supra-Soarer_W0QQitemZ8020604669QQcategoryZ40192QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem ta:Pling:

    New Tyres

dont you need ZR rated tyres on your Supra - thats what the stock came with so if you put non-ZRs on I thought it was MOT fail!
  5. o by the way - I'm looking at changing my setup to account for my old man tastes (need something for my potholed roads), so would be interested in someone elses suspension if they wanted to change. Thanks, D
  6. Hello can anyone help! I have just bought a lovely Razo knob from Jap and it should be with me by next weekend. The only thing is it says it for manuals only due to threaded gear shafts. Well my tiptronic has a threaded shaft so should it fit??? The instructions say i need 8mm, 10mm, or 12mm to fit. Does anyone know what their Soop measures if manual or auto? Apparently you need some special measuring device to do this. Thanks, D
  7. thats well good! i paid about £20 for the cleaning and painting kit from the states - got seriously done on P&P. dont buy from the states unless the P&P is laid out first!!! how long do you really have to wait b4 you can drive after painting - the tin'll say about 24 hours but im hoping to take it somewhere 5 hours later for an alloy refurb...
  8. Hi folks, I have my recently Tein assessed and approved (good as new) jap spec Track Master Type RA dampers and coilovers up for grabs. If you have Tein top mounts (say running Super Streets) then they might fit directly - but let me know so I can check with TEIN. They are sharp and are ideal for those running aggressive setups, those looking to ditch their woolly ride, or those looking to move into the big power league. Some blurb from the web: TEIN Type RA is designed for advanced circuit racing and street use for experienced drivers. It uses a new designed mono-tube structure for handling and has the strut type suspension with an inverted steel shock absorber for durability. There are 16 levels of damping force adjustment (compression and rebound together) with adjustable ride height. Buying new from TEIN would set you back USD1790 + delivery or if you call UK guys GBP1650 (inc VAT). I think this would include top mounts. PM me if interested. Thanks, D (07886001454) http://www.tein.com/radamp.html
  9. dude use high temp paint only! if you choose not to remove the callipers then be careful with the brush. i intend to do mine at the weekend if my paint arrives + I bought some gold Supra decals too! seems like everyones at it!

    Racing a 911

was he prepared to race at such speeds? i prolly wouldnt risk it even if i had a lambo! watch out for the coppers!
  11. keep it up for sale but drive it anyway - at least that way you can enjoy it without stressing about it.
  12. and maybe less tips than 6spds lets do it justice and call it what it actually is...semi-automatic.
  13. keeping it - made the right choice! I'm on the verge of a good insurance deal so might go for the long haul myself! tips are just like a regular auto except you have a thumb shift mode and the engine to gearbox management was uprated. love it!
  14. whats the name of the garage. if they're giving thingys away for 20 quid god knows what else they do!
  15. what about the matt black - looks nice too? my car is black so dunno if it'd work. i have red caliper paint en route and Supra decals.
  16. guess the insurers will assess the side impact and damage to the front of the audi and find the audi at fault without hassle.
  17. at least it werent your fault eh! still bad news.
  18. Gaz - what are your prices looking like?
  19. o i took the horrid seat covers out! standardised the interior a bit - of course the gear knob still needs a revision!
  20. thnx for advice chaps! umm well if i can find the right insurance deal fully comp then i wouldnt have any problems but i cant keep paying 100 per month third party only cos cant really drive it anywhere. i like working on it and just wanna make it look good. if i keep it on autotrader and someone makes an offer well then thats a bonus? someone is checking out one this weekend and will let me know. o some finishes showed here (thought I shiny cyan tone or a red would look good especially in the dark? or even smoked chrome?): http://www.lap-tab.co.uk/alloywheels.php
  21. im saying "no" to your reference to it shooting off the driveway in a flash if it was 6sp. selling a car brings with it various practical issues and you dont know the level of interest expressed privately which is still active. anyway leave this thread to the sale of the car. start one elsewhere if you wanna get your panties tied up.
  22. nope actually i have someone knocking on my door wanting the tech advancements in a tiptronic. alls im saying is people will value things according to preference. as for selling long ago, it so happens that one or two people already have cars who are now selling to fund interest in mine, so there is a delay.
  23. i want a black respray...would just like to achieve a perfect shine again!
