    Supra Dealers

u might be struggling cos traders will wnat a px against a car at this time of year. not sure - just go onto autotrader and put in a london postcode to see how far the dealers are.
  3. yea it is a funny ol' market. there is such a difference in quality from one model to the next it really takes someone to really come up close and appreciate the intricacies. my 98 aint coming down anymore - s'pecially since i just changed the rubbers, refurbed the alloys, took the stinkin fog off the back, standardised the interior and added a razo knob, and now intend to paint and decal the calipers!
  4. umm sounds interesting. see i had Toyota disassemble the wheel assembly to check for loose nuts and worn bearings and they gave me the all clear. my thud comes when i go over the tiniest bumps - similar thing with you?
  5. I'm looking at these babies - guessing USD120 postage. do these fit stock uppermounts and i guess i can grab some stock springs? please! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/KYB-AGX-SHOCKS-TOYOTA-SUPRA-93-98-BEST-PRICE_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33590QQitemZ8021819297QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW
  6. thanks guys. i have been in a UK soop with bilsteins and thought they were awesome. didnt feel a single bump yet handled like a dream when the guy was throwing it round corners. the KYB AGXs are affordable too! do they fit standard soop top mounts? and which springs do you recommend - stock?
  7. jspec better than UK bilsteins? that must be sweet as then! do you know what make they are?
  8. im gonna take another look at the boot to make sure it aint that. man its annoying!
  9. so it might not be my shocks after all! how much did it cost to do and is it a job you can do yourself?
  10. Hi, Can anyone tell me how well suited these are to UK roads? Also does anyone know what the standard shocks were called - Toyota KYBs? Thanks, D
  11. bilsteins standard on a Jap car?
  12. can you let me know what you find out here - my soop thuds but I'm putting it down to the rubbish roads and a circuit suspension setup. ive had the wheel assembly checked out by Toyota and its fine, changed drop links unnecessarily, and had Tein assess my shocks. think i just need a softer setup. if the thudding carries on after that then it must be something else!
  13. i think the squeals could be a fan belt in need of tightening or your water pump.
  14. Hi, Does anyone here run the stock Jap Suspension setup? - if so could you give an opinion on how it handles the UK rubbish roads. I think the OEMs were made by Tokico. Also, has anyone tried the KYB AGX struts? - if so how do they compare to stock or super streets? I dont want the car too low either so I can get over even the nastiest speed bumps. Thanks, D

    New Tyres

I was lucky enough to win brand new Dunlop Sports all weather 245/40/ZR18 tyres for only £102 off ebay. yesterday I dropped my car off for alloy refurb (£60 each) and I'll have em swap the tyres then so I dont have to pay anyone for fitment. bargain!

  19. they are well good prices! stupid question again - are they the same front and rear?
  20. Hi, Are these a good bargain? - i.e, would they fit and how easy are they to fit? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Toyota-Celica-Supra-MR-2-crystal-clear-marker-lights_W0QQitemZ8021004083QQcategoryZ42613QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/93-98-SUPRA-MK4-CLEAR-REAR-SIDE-BUMPER-LIGHTS_W0QQitemZ8020319248QQcategoryZ33715QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Thanks, D
