just noticed on your garage Mike that you have the SARD R2D2 how do you find it? i've got the Blitz SuperSound at the mo and it doesn't seem that loud to me & i don't hear it that often do you find the same with us having autos or do you hear it all the time between gear changes etc? i only really hear it when i accelerate and lift off as opposed to accelerate & change gear as i'm used to with a manual thinking of swapping to the R2D2 so would appreciate your opinion cheers, Wes

i have the miami-gt dual gauge one which replaces the stock trim it comes in a state where you have to bore out the holes for your gauges so you can choose 50mm or 60mm very pleased with it, my comment being that it only just reaches where it goes over the door so you have to be spot on when fitting it fitting can be done with adhesives etc but i chose to go for a couple of black screws, one which fit snugly into an unused thread on the a pillar and the other a self tapper into one of the metal fixings that the stock item clipped onto i figured this way i wouldn't have to re-stick it all back on if i ever needed to get to the gauges or re-wire etc i'll take a pic tonight & post it up for you if i get chance

Privilege did the same with me when i bought mine earlier in the year. Gave me a quote prior to buying & then when i called to confirm after buying it was about 400 quid more!! er, no... apparently they had done the same and quoted me for a Mk3 and so a mate of mine said to mention the Insurance Ombudsman as being my next course of action if they didn't honour the quote since i had given the correct information and it could not possibly have been a Mk3 based on the year i'd given. They initially then said they would investigate the recordings of the phone calls to confirm i had given correct information (which i think was just a bluff to see if i was trying it on) and then i got a call saying they would honour the quote but the excess was higher might be worth a try if you want to stay with them?

have you checked the plug(s) underneath the seat? i can't remember if it's one or two but they are what connects the seat to the power, perhaps one is unplugged or damaged?

sorry for the hijack but does anyone know if the light also comes on if you have the keys out of the ignition but the battery still connected?
