  1. cheers chaps, CJs is where i first saw it on the Miami GT site pics and i'm assuming that all you guys have lower than stock cars? i must have like 3" clearance from the road whereas the Samurai is what about 6"? everyone happy with the fitment?
  2. cheers guys you have much trouble with inclines etc with this nose? do you still have to avoid car parks etc? i know i've got no chance in a multi storey & even slight dips in the road i get caught out on if going at any kind of speed so i guess it would really make things a little more practical for me appreciate the help
  3. after my recent incident when i loaned the car to my dad, i'm considering a different bumper that may not be quite as low anyone have a pic of the Miami GT Samurai bumper on a silver supe? i'd love to see some pics of any colour really but silver would help me see it on my car better oh and does anyone have the height it sits from the ground? I'm on the yellow bilsteins & lowered springs option that some supes came with if anyone has similar thanks, Wes
  4. is the boost gauge bit tested as working too si? just remembered mine is a facelift too which I believe makes a difference for the harness. is yours pre-facelift jap?
  5. heard about a girl in a white Supra in a bad smash on lower prom in Blackpool on Wed night hope everyone's ok
  6. just coming out of the Tesco express on Kilnhouse Lane you were just leaving when i came out from the Shell petrol station next door young lad driving, stock wheels & no kit
  7. what spraying them white?!
  8. just to bring closure to this issue for anyone who is also thinking of getting some Corbeaus, i am now a happy chappy firstly, from the 2 sets of subframes that Corbeau sent me (1 set that didn't fit the bolt holes & 1 set with broken runners) i managed to make a single set that are fully fitting & functional secondly, and more embarassingly, it turns out that the seats i bought are actually the 'wide' edition ( see here ) hence why they were hitting the door cards good ol' ebay anyways, a local car welders took a look at them and managed to bend the outer edges in very slightly so that they now do not touch the door cards & look no different from what Paul has been telling me he has now sorted his suppliers for subframes that are fully fitting and has a few other people now very happy with their Corbeau seats too sorted

    Alarm won't arm

are the doors & boot definitely closed? i was gutted one day after cleaning the car when it just kept unlocking again after i armed it, thinking i'd got water in somewhere - turned out to be the door on the passenger wasn't shut properly & it was letting me know
  11. yeah looks nice - well done, always great to do something yourself without messing it up! is the rear number plate surround on the cards too?
  12. i think that's the 'bump stop' Gaz, that Col's referring to - it stops the top of the damper hitting the suspension turret doesn't really explain the knock on the sharp right hand turns though
  13. i'd start with getting the wheel clear off the ground and then checking all the way round it by grabbing it top and bottom & seeing if there is any play with the wheel - did you not replace the studs recently? then, if that's ok, remove the wheel & check for any play in the suspension strut in general which resembles the sound you're getting probably just going to be a bush or something that's worn, or a bolt that's loose i remember Chris Wilson having to tighten up my subframe bolts as they were quite loose, do they have them at the rear too? give us a shout if you need any help
  14. you pass my mate at work most days & he always comments on it apparently you were having a play with a V6 CLio this morning was it you?
  15. lmfao - what a great thread he's an entertainer - whether you love him or laugh at him personally, i find him a little embarrasing, but amusing at the same time and the music he plays on his show etc i like
  16. i forgot about them! they ain't very good unfortunately - here's the ones that came out without looking like they were taken whilst sat on a washing machine!
  17. i think she made it quite clear on the night mate as much as i'd like to say Supra first, i know how much it matters to keep these wife things sweet too! hows about kitchen on a super special deal from Currys or wherever, buy now pay 2012 and you can get the Supra too then nice to meet the folks i didn't know & good to see the peeps i do sorry to those i didn't get chance to speak to some lovely examples there & put the entire car park to shame - look at the crowd we attracted! it was that big we had to leave!
  18. if anyone gets lost or just needs to get in touch i'm on 07971 925787
  19. i'm using grabIt at the mo as a newsreader & it seems quite good & it's free http://www.shemes.com and i agree NZBs should be used by all!
  20. something like this however http://www.mvpmotorsports.com/Templates/frmTemplateH.asp?SubFolderID=213&SearchYN=N does seem to be 'best of both worlds' but according to the experts, i.e. someone like Chris Wilson, the standard airbox & even the standard filter is not restrictive anyway garetheves has a nice custom airbox very similar to the MVP one which makes use of the air feeds & even seals to the bonnet
  21. i never noticed any of these bits when i was swapping my stock airbox back on for the apexi i had - is this specific to NAs?
  22. Mike, they have put a barrier up now on the Currys, Comet, PC World, Halfords etc side of the car parks, so there's a chance that it may be closed, so it will be the Morrisons side sim, completely understandable, would do the same myself we'll see you some other time i'm sure
  23. i'll be meeting you all at 7pm in Morrisons car park think it was toby & dane who were going to meet gareth there at 6, try PMing them to arrange a time
