  1. there are some jetwashes at Morrisons on the same road as the airport (Squires Gate Lane) or if you head up Squires Gate Lane back towards the motorway (away from the sea) when you get to the firs set of main traffic lights (after the speed camera) turn right and there is a drive thru jet wash place there on the right who will do it for you
  2. i don't know if this already exists but i'm thinking of a product that is basicallyt a curtain that would sit over your double DIN slots it would stick to the fascia of the dash, just around the opening of the double DIN slots and have a slidy curtain that you could pull down to hide whatever was in the double DIN slots a bit like how old bread bins used to work or those office cupboards that have a sliding front that goes up and down this kind of theory http://structall.com/Content/FabricShield/StormShutters.htm anyone know if something like this exists or anything is similar in size that i could adapt?
  3. do the best you can with a top up & bleed of the brakes & then take it somewhere LOCAL to get the flush and a proper bleed done?
  4. all still on Dave, i've just PMd everyone who has registered they are coming in the calendar to see if we can get an upto date confirmation of numbers and who's still interested in food or whether we just eat at McDonalds next to the Morrisons car park
  5. it's got to be NITROUS next!!!

    Hello Everybody

hope to see you at the Blackpool meet Dave nothing better than seeing a row of Supras lined up & then you can pick out the best bits you'd like to see on yours
  7. i've been with Pipex for years and only ever had to ring tech support once as Mcanny recommended, investigate a little on http://www.adslguide.org where you can compare them all in terms of customer satisfaction, speed, etc, based on peoples opinions every month from what i understand, Pipex have the biggest connections to the 'backbone' of the UK's network of the intermaweb and don't complain to people about 'fair use policies' even though they have 'unlimited' usage, unlike some other providers are known to do
  8. we'll still be queuing to get out by then sorry you can't make it Gaz, we should catch up soon, i've got your blue things sat here waiting for you still
  9. what i was looking for was whether they protruded from the door any more than pre-facelift one - thanks chaps
  10. can anyone confirm whether the door cards on the facelift Supra are any different to a pre-facelift?
  11. is this a MASK type face where it hides away when the ignition is off or is it a removeable face?
  12. glad yours went in ok matey they do look nice so they don't touch the door card at all? maybe i've just been unlucky with mine gonna try the passenger one in the morning and see how that goes in they are bloody comfy compared to the stock seats aren't they?! Paul was also fitting some Carreras today for someone apparently so will find out how they went in too

    RWYB Elvington

The event runs from 10.30 until about 4.30 all you need is your driving license and a crash helmet the cost is £45 and that includes the top speed runs on the 2 mile runway. The event organisers website is http://www.straightliners.co.uk and the event is at Elvington Aerodrome, York.
  14. mine were from the UK Corbeau the ones in your picture are similar but not the same as the ones i've received would you mind contacting them for a confirmed price including delivery and confirmation that: 1. the holes match up properly for the bolts to hold the subframes to the car 2. the seat doesn't touch the door card once fitted (Carrera model) 3. the internals of the runners won't fall out if i adjust the seat cheers mate and could you send me those instructions for the earthing kit please when you get chance?
  15. Paul supplied mine. He's done everything he can to get the problem rectified but the latest batch are still rubbish IMO. He's fitting a set tomorrow with some Carreras as he tried a set with some Boss seats last week & they went in fine. The Carreras are smaller seats in every dimension according to the specs on the Corbeau site so if the Boss seats fit then the Carreras should. Noticed tonight i now have a dent in the door card where the seat is pushing against it & the seat is also now loose on the subframe somewhere
  16. just wanted to know how other people had got one with fitting their subframes from Corbeau in the UK i've got a set of the Carerra seats and i've now had 2 sets of subframes from Corbeau personally, i think the quality & fitment of them is appalling as an example, the 2nd set i have now, whilst i can actually get the subframes to match up with the stock seat bolt holes i don't think the thread on the bolts will be up to much now and my drivers seat still touches the door card when it's closed, meaning you can't get the seatbelt round without opening the door again! when i adjusted my seat, i felt some 'interference' and when i moved it back again, part of the internals of one the runners fell out! i haven't fitted the passenger side yet, but last time i couldn't even get the bolt holes to match up on them! if you look on the web site http://www.corbeau-seats.co.uk/Corbeau%20Accessories.htm at the subframes on there, that was the kind of thing i expected. i'll post a picture up of what i have actually got at some point if anyone's interested or also having the same problems anyone bought some from Corbeau USA?
  17. yeah i think they do, will find out in the local paper or something nice one Ian, Dave coming too? was very bizarre when i bumped into him in a club whilst we were out in Sheffield last month! looks like we got a good gathering on the cards
  18. sounds like a plan there's the Outside Inn next to the B&Q Superstore, just at the penultimate junction at the end of the M55 (Gaz, you know the one where i met you & Cav that time) plenty of parking & an interesting layout inside (medievil or something) You'll have to ignore the website http://www.outsideinnblackpool.co.uk/ though as it sucks otherwise, the Shovels pub isn't too bad or there's the 'Air Balloon' which are both close to the entrance of the illuminations, however i think the Air Balloon is where MG Rover & CruiseBlackpool are meeting up or there is Pizza Hut which is just near the end of the M55 and then 5 mins from the illuminations the best place to eat is in town, http://www.westcoastrock.co.uk/westframe.asp but unfortunately there is zero parking nearby that i would consider 'safe'!
  19. not sure what else we could arrange really & most folks are going to be nearby if you fancy the weekend then come on up, do your thing & then meet us Sunday anyway
  20. last night of the illuminations see here for details: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=49913
  21. updated the starting post to include a couple of maps and some further details (see post #1) made the meet time 7pm unless there's any objections, to try and accomodate those travelling from a bit further who may still want to get home at a reasonable hour! anymore for anymore? Brian, Dale, RedM, Animal, Shytot, Dave? 1, n00b 2, Garetheves (Gaz) 3, tobyg 4, sim 5, wez_p 6, Dodgy
  22. check out here Craig http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=49638 and all should become a little clearer prices vary on mileage, modifications & generally how much the seller wants to get rid!! the Cars for Sale forum on here can also give you a good idea of current prices along with their specifications
  23. you bloody snobs! the folks i've met to date who are members of the club are actually quite sound & it's very focused on car modification (mainly Ford stuff with the local experts Motorsport Developments beinga specialist) - they actually did a charity event a couple of months ago (a bikini car wash!) anyways, it's our own meet if we prefer & there's plenty of places & the light are usually on till about 11.30 on a Sunday ( http://www.blackpooltourism.com/?OBH=270 ) does 8pm sound like a suitable time? i'll have a think about where would be a good place to meet if people want to say whether they will be wanting to get some food or anything, e.g. a location near a pub, McDonalds, etc? sim, are you really coming from Sussex?! 1, n00b 2, Garetheves (Gaz) 3, tobyg 4, sim 5, wez_p
