  1. Thanks Ian, I was specifically thinking about the MAP sensor of the GE engine cuz they dont read +'ve pressure supposedly right. So if you use the greddy pressure sensor wouldnt the stock ECU still try to resist the extra fuelling??? Another thing, could you adjust ignition on the GE through the emanage since that engine uses a distributor type ignition? thanks a lot
  2. Ian, do you know whether it is possible to use a emanage when doing an NA-T setup in a 2JZ-GE engine???
  3. Hi guys, anyone know where i can get hold of a decent leak down gauge? thanks
  4. I m not too sure about that cuz I remember i was hunting for a rev counter and Curt Aiger told me that the mounting points on the rev counter is different between teh LHD and RHD cars. So possibly the mountings are different for the speedometer as well.

    Wiring loom

Anyone know whether it is possible to get a brand new J-spec engine wiring loom, and from where??? thanks
  7. Thanks for the reply!!!
  8. Hi, Does anyone know whether the ABS unit on the TT supra's and the NA supra's are the same??? in my NA-TT car I m thinking of upgrading to the UK big brakes so (if the ABS unit is different) would the ABS still work fine??? thanks
  9. they are either 6spd or auto. 5spd was only for the non-turbo model
  10. Thanks mate. will have a look Cheers
  11. ya exactly. I really dont think its meant for Auto's. Even so I clocked better 0-60 times in sequential mode as opposed to TTC in my manual.
  12. Hi guys, Recently after my engine swap one day my driver seat electric motor seems to have stopped working. Also, the interior light (light hear rear view mirror) stopped working. Could this be anything to do with the engine swap at all??? (I m using an aristo engine so the alternator amp is equivalent to an auto TT *I Think* ) Are there any fuses for the electric seat motor??? thanks
  13. You do have to install an Apexi SAFC atleast to trim down the fuelling. It will also have to be done using a Wideband O2 sensor.
  14. check on supraforums.com someone's even done a documentation on this. also if you look under the 'Elmhurst Toyota section', Curt has put up a detailed parts list of whats required for the conversion.
  15. Yes the gearbox will fit the TT engine. Only the ECU wires have to be re-done. you do not have to re wire the complete car.
  16. Didnt intend to be harsh, sorry for that. just though that it would be more relevant in the off-topic section
  17. Pl post comments on the 'off-topic' section.
  18. How is the UK spec airbox different from the J-spec?
  19. The TT injectors wont fit the NA.

    Boost

sorted it out. installed the vaccum hoses to the VSV's the wrong way by mistake.

    Boost

I ve been running in TTC mode ever since I did my TT swap. Today i changed it to sequential mode and the car was behaving very weird, firstly I was hardly getting any boost in 1st gear (got full boost in other gears). Also, at times the boost drops off suddenly at higher RPM's in higher gears while accelerating. Any thoughs on what could be wrong? Cheers

    boost

Hi, I m seeing full boost (in TTC) at 4500rpm in 3th gear (stock TT) . Is this normal or should it be much sooner??? Cheers
