this is probly a stupid question but is a tt that was first registered in nortern ireland a uk spec........ just thinkin' euro models might hav e been sold in n.ireland and did the euro spec have all the uk goodies.... bonnet scoop, front spoiler etc.?

im a 'uk' fan..... but still love the j-spec, an of coarse there is the fact the i cant bring myself to pay double the amount of insurance for a lower spec car ................................ never could figure out how that one worked?

Hmmmmm!! just been wondering what you guys think. I have a Auto uk TT in storm Blue Cream Leather (Stunning car), but as a few of you know im still after that ever tempting uk Manual. A)would you keep your auto that you love to bits, anits your perfect colour package. B)would you sell up an get your self a manual in the same condition but in silver with 20k less miles on it. Desissions....desissions!!!!!!!!!!!

john w: i know the colour has really grown on me too, i was in exactly the same boat as you black was the colour i was after!!....... but the blue with cream leather is the d's b's, and is now by far (in my mind) the best colour. as for not selling it, as much as i love the car im really in NEEEEDDDDDD!!!! of a manual uk. . And the only way i would ever sell her is if i had a manual uk in my sites

didn't realise a manual change would cost so much!, i was thinking it would be more along the 2.5-3k mark?? , thats that idea out the window! ill always got my eye out for a maual uk , most aropund have got over 100k on the clock though? (im after 60-70k) the red suup in the prervious thread is exactly what i would be after, but it comes with a hefty price tag! 13k?? time to play supra waiting game......one will turn up... i hope..?

hi all, the problem: I bought a uk tt AUTO about 4 months ago, this was my second choice after spending about 6 months trying to find a uk manual (fooking immpossible to find!!?) with no luck, the car i got is , its in lovely nik! its got immac service history, storm blue crm leather, a1 condition, 60k, everything i was after.... apart from its the auto just wondering what the score is with converting to a manual box costs/problems etc?............ will the ecu need to been changed? does trc work the same on auto/manaul. your thought pls. people cheers!

electrician came to wire my stereo/dvd yesterday so that handbrake does not have to be on to watch.................. now the airbag light stays on? any ideas why people???? cheers
