  2. i am planning on getting the kenwood ddx7025 touchscreen strereo unit.... firstly has anyone got one of these, if so your thoughts prior to my purchase would be a great help. secondly does anyone know of a link with a diagram of how to change stero in the mkiv...... it doesn't seem to pull out like in most cars? cheers peeps!!

  8. Hi all, quick question......... got my suup bout 2 months ago now and was told the alarm wasnt working and that they have unplugged it because it had blown the printing circuit board............(and therefore was given no alarm fob.) BUT.... i left the window open an locked up the car with key yesterday, returned to the car and opened from the inside door handle and THE ALARM WENT OFF???........... i checked the engine bay and from what i can see the alarm is unplugged? (alarm, bottom right nxt to battery, uk spec) could this mean i have got both the toyota alarm and an aftermarket alarm fitted........ any ideas how i can check alarm/immob. is working prop. on either......... if it is working is it just a case of getting a new fob from toyota............ your help please guys this one is puzzleing me. cheers

  17. quick question, a few of u said bp ultimate is best fuel to use on a '93 uktt........ i could be imagining but over last few days i could swear she aint ticking over as smoothly?? (when idle seems bit noisyer). i think its always run standard uleaded... is it possible bp ult isn't as good or as i say 'imagination' going mad or sane.... your votes please
  18. im trying to keep the whole car toyota standard.......at the moment it is a toyota thorough-breed (not one aftermarket part) and thats generally the way i was planning to keep it.....do you know roughyl hoew much it costs to bleed the brakes?? and oh yeah whifbitz is about 10mins from me are they worth going to?
  19. cheers m8, yeah thats what i thought brake pads....easy stuff.... any garage should be capable im going to a garage tomorrow and they are £120 cheaper than toyota??!!!
  20. Brake pads uk spec - i need my toyota pads changed and wanted to know is this a simple something that can be done by my local garage or do i need to take it to my usual toyota or a jap specilist? (needless to say who charge me an arm an a legg!). which brings me on to my next question to you experianced supra boys....and ladys, were should i get work an service done on my soop? my local jap garage are very good and they used to be part of Toyta/Lexus servicing called JEM (they service and repair alot of import soops already). or Toyota??? toyota are slightly more expensive on labour eg fitt an supply rear + front pads £300, JEM costs £280, spark pluggs supply + fitt £180 toyota, £165 JEM. some have said to me toyota wont know to much about the soop and that your better off going to a jap specilist....is this true??? oh, and if it helps at all some of my serv. hist is toyota but most of it is done by independant toyota specilists. let me know please peeps.........Thanks!!!
  21. ok?..im getting a bit confused here...ive used standard unleaded (is this the wrong thing to do?)...... ive got a uk spec, whats the best to use
  22. burna thats a buity!!, standard is definantly the way to go
