    new clutch???

went to 2 different local garage's today, an they said it sounds fine, maybe just needs some sort of lubrication..... or some barings may be warne........ they said not the release bearing cos the sound would be obvious, sounds more like a slight vibration of the gear stick apparantly? does this sound right, i really dont wanna have to take it to toyta to get my pants pulled down! + noticed today it seems to be louder in reverse, your thoughts would be appreciated
  6. were do you get all these diagrams from!?....... people on this formun seem to be able to find instructions/diagrams for anything, ive used the maxboost site before which is helpful but its doesn't cover an awful lot?
  7. cheers guys!!!..... the exact reply's i was after!!
  8. ive looked everywere for instructions to remove headlights on j-spec, does anybody know if a link with a step by step plan.....pllleeeease its driving me mad!!
  9. i went on a long drive up to Bradford on Monday, and ever since i got back i seem to be suffering from double vision?? ........ maybe it was just the amount of coffe i drunk on my 7 hr journey there an back ......... this must be the happiest day of my life!....... 2 uk suups on my drive, i have boaught the silver manual and a t present the auto iss up for sale.....BUT im just enjoying the luxery whilst it lasts!!!! hmmm.... which one should i take tomorrow , if only i could afford to keep both

    new clutch???

when i have biting point on clutch there is a quiet rattling sound?..... could be coming from the gear stick it think? when the clutch is pushed down, the rattling noise stops?? i know its a very brief description, bout does anyone know what this could be? cheers

    mkiv interior roof

its on my new car, and i agree it looks alot better than the standard cloth roof!
  18. interior-has anyone else got leather/leather looking roof for uk tt, my current tt is blk felt stuff? (very technical i know)
  19. ah!!!! you flash git, jdm? were not all as lucky as you clarkey-sparkey
  20. if your fully comp. you should have windscreen cover..... £50? new windscreen?.....BARGAIN??? and makes no diff. to no claims bonus, doesn't effect it what so ever
  21. im a uk fan myself............ the turbos may be steel, but this is a bonus as far as im concerned, there bigger turb's (i think) an there alot more durable (stronger). you have a far better chance of getting a genuine car with genuine mileage an serv. hist (of coarse which is essential on these cars) then the other small thing............... in my case and im sure in many others, uk spec insurance is alomost half the porice of j-spec unless you get top model j-spec, you wont get, heated seats, active bonnet vent, active front spoiler, 326bhp as standard oh and the big brakes Of coarse each to there own though..... this is just my opinion
  22. that would be me!, as rash said i was one of the first to call him on this motor, but i decided to keep it on the low down ..... for obvious reasons...........sorry peeps, I would just like to add Rash is a top bloke!, ive been speaking to him on an off ever since i was going to get my first supra from him a year back....... he has been very helpfull to me giving advice on the other suups i went to see, i have also spoken to others that have baught from him and all have been supplied top motors ..... lets just hope this is another rash special!! .................... him and his partner in crime (soz cant remember his name) are nice blokes to deal with!!!!! cheers RA MOTORS, ps RASH guess what took me 5 hrs to get there.............an u laughed, BUT took me 6 to get back *LOL* (journey well worth it though m8)
