    It's not over... http://marieszomblog.blogspot.com/2010/12/its-not-over.html
  3. Silly question, but is it in gear? Not sure about the manuals, but with the auto, you can't turn the key unless it is in Park. Maybe make sure its in neutral. Other than that, I'd still be checking the steering lock. Does the steering wheel turn? If it doesn't, then keep trying to turn the wheel while turning the key to free the lock. Welcome (not) Nev

Yep, it all turned to hell in the last few days. There are some survivors, so maybe one of them will take up the story.

That's it, then. The last few entries are proper grim, but incredibly well done. If you've not read it yet, I can highly recommend it. Wonder what he's going to write next?
  7. I still occasionally use mine. 10717 is my best, I feel inadequate, lol.
  8. She thinks that's about right, but that might then tie you into a contract. She's never worked in the sales side, so she's not 100% on what is currently offered.
  9. Lucy works for Homeserve - they do instant cover policies (although she doesn't know how much or anything). I'd give them a look.
  10. I thought I saw a dead baby ghost in the bushes a while back. Turned out it was just a hanky...
  11. UK Metal band Onslaught are releasing a cover of the Motorhead song "Bomber" on the 17th with proceeds going to Help for Heroes. Went to download the mp3 from Play.com and it it currently number 1 in the pre-order charts. \m/ Could we be looking at a PROPER metal xmas number 1? Hope so. http://www.powerfromhell.com/images/powerfromhell/frontpage/bomber-banner.png Get it bought. What better way could you spend £1.49?
  12. Wash? Sorry, you've lost me there Just drive it, you puff.
  13. The fire alarm went off in the building Lucy has a flat in. Best thing was, it went off at the exact moment she hit snooze on her alarm - scared the bejesus out of her. No fire, luckily, but it was funny as hell.
  14. Looks like I'll be coming on my own, Lucy is being ill everywhere
  15. This had me in stitches... http://newsweak.com/exclusive/school-field-trip-tour-of-slaughterhouse-traumatizes-children The whole "well they went to a chocolate factory, what's the difference..." line of reasoning is brilliant.
  16. WAV? Surely you mean WMA. Anyway, I got a Pioneer headunit with a USB tail and have all my music on a 16gb memory card. That's the way I would go if its just for listening to in the car. I just sync the memory stick with Media Player and it updates it with any new music (I have it set to sync anything with a 4 or 5 star rating).
  17. If it's fully decatted, then you will need some form of baffle in the end can. I had a straight through pipe a few years ago and it was actually painful to drive - anything over 60mph and I had to open the windows as the noise felt like it was pressurising the cabin. Everything I've owned, bikes, trikes & cars have had the baffles knocked out and drag pipes fitted (one bike could set off car alarms on the other side of the road) and the Supra is the only vehicle that has made me scared (and ashamed) to press the throttle. I would suggest having a look for the exhaust noise thread and getting an idea of what different pipes sound like. I ended up getting a full Whifbitz system and it's brilliant, not too loud that you can't hold a conversation on the motorway, but a good howl when you get over 4k rpm.
  18. That's brilliant Classic reply from Plato. (I want to know what happened to his pants now...)
