  1. Hey thanks for the picture Jake - that looks alot nicer actually..... Will have to speak to my mate about this! Nick
  2. hmm yeah, see what you mean..... Fancied one abit smaller too, but I know that only causes hassle from the fuzz...
  3. After..... Still a couple of minor things to do including buffing and sorting out the holes at the side of the front bumper...... Nick
  4. Supra before and after incident with a steep kerb!! Thanks for your help with this Col...... Regards Nick
  5. No problem Chris. I managed to get hold of some 75/90 over the weekend as I needed it for today (monday). Thanks for the help! Nick
  6. Hey thanks for that Alex! Thats cleared things up considerably! Nick
  7. I dont get this!! Toyota recommend 75/90, then some threads on here recommend V160...... Not too sure what to believe!! Mine isnt a 6-speed box, so does that mean I dont need to V160 now???? hmm.....
  8. Can you get the oil to me by Satureday Chris? If so I need 3litres worth Thanks Nick
  9. Please help me with this query!! I have searched on the site for several threads on gearbox fluid (I own a 96 Supra NA import manual).... It seems like the general concensus for the right fluid is V160, obtainable from a Toyota dealership (quite a few threads on this)... Okay, heres the problem. I rang my local Toyota dealership to order a couple of litres of the stuff, and they said that I didnt need that, but instead to get something like 75/90???? Whats going on? Any suggestions???? I need to replace my gearbox fluid and just want to get the best stuff possible.... Thanks in advance! Nick
  10. No worries mate. I could do with having a go myself anyway and save myself some cash!
  11. Thanks for the replies one and all...... and thanks for the photo Ben-san. Confirms my feelings about how good they look with them removed!! Regarding downforce, etc. I dont really go above 100mph in the Soop, for fear of losing my license, so doubt I will miss the added effect of having a spoiler (if it actually exists). Anyone got any more nice shots???? Thanks Nick
  12. Thanks for the tips Supra_Nish. I will take it really easy with that lining, as I have seen the clips break on someone else's. Need to speak to Trig and get some shots next! Thanks for the info...
  13. I just think the standard spoiler is abit too lary if you follow - only my opinion of course.... Just need to find some shots now to see what the effect will be like. Nick
  14. Hi guys I am seriously considering removing the spoiler on my Soop..... Just wondered if anyone had any pictures with Supra's with their spoiler removed? Any advice as to getting it off? Does it actually look any good??? Thanks in advance! Nick
  15. I could have a go, but I dont have a heat gun, a box, any sense about these sort of things or the time!! Wouldnt have a clue about price either. So not much help there at all Burt!! Sorry mate.... Might try and speak to Silvermachine (aka Gaz). He lives round the corner from me and might fancy giving this a try! Nick
  16. How much would you sell em for Burt? Might be interested as mine look poor and very yellow!! Nick
  17. Thanks for the replies guys. I have to say that I have never been a fan of the large spoiler on the back. Personally I think they look far too chavvy for my taste - each to there own of course. If it isnt going to effect the handling, then I think I will get it removed and resprayed. I can always put it back on if it does effect the handling, although from what you de-spoiled guys are saying, it looks like it is simply there for cosmetic purposes.... Cheers Nick
  18. Alright guys I was speaking to Gaz (aka Silvermachine) the other day regarding the removal of my rear spoiler. To be honest I like the look of the Supra without them on..... He mentioned that it could have an effect on the handling and that I would possibly need to adjust the alignment of the rear wheels to cater for the spoiler being removed - hope I got this right Gaz??] Anyway, does anyone know if this is the case or have any experiance of removing the spoiler? Any advice would be appreciated.... Nick
  19. Nice to read all your opinions here guys. Just got to finance a TT then by the looks of things!! Nick
  20. The wagons been de-catted and had an exhaust added. Apart from that its standard.... Regarding a flat out drag style race - I havent tried this yet. Im only going on experiance of driving the Supra, getting out and then driving the Subaru. Regarding trying hard in the NA - believe me, thats how I drive. Hence my poor licence condition! I kind of expected you guys to say that a TT would whoop one. I am really looking forward to the day that someone takes me out in one! Im still searching for something that will give me the same buzz as my Ducati. Nick
  21. Well guys, my girlfriend picked up her new car yesterday - A Subaru Impreza Turbo Wagon, and regrettably, it makes a mockery of my NA! I took it out last night and to say its better than my NA is an understatement. Its faster, has better handling, better brakes, quicker acceleration, more grip and gives off a better noise! I am not only a little jealous, but abit gutted too!! I thought my Supra would have easily been able to match the scooby, but I seriously doubt it could, even with the added de-cat pipe and filter (small mods but hey, its an NA)! Has anyone on here owned a Subaru Turbo? I would like to hear how they stand up against a TT (or not as the case will probably be). Is the TT another step up again in terms of performance?? Nick
