  1. Go for it Adam! You just can't get enough of
  2. I'm certainly not the most technical bod on here but I can tell you that if I push the boost up to far, (anything over 1.3), my gauge can climb into the 900+'s within a couple of seconds or less easily. IIRC 925 is about the max before things start melting. Mine's been up to 1000 but only for a second or so. And I'm fairly convinced I can hear det at 950+ Seek more knowledgeable advice first, then wind it up Sounds to me like you have more room for higher boost
  3. Do any other light slight up when the triangle lights up? Poss. Low brake fluid rushing to the front of the master cylinder on deceleration? - But then, I'd have thought it would light on braking too.
  4. Can't be as flash as the above two cause I've not got a scanner to hand, but my RR results came out at 296.9 rwhp, which equates to approx 395 bhp flywheel. Lowest on here so far
  5. I could be completely wrong as I'm going by what I remember from old cars and probably very old technology, (mk2 Escorts and Capris). If things are still the same, you used to be able to simply jack the rear of the car up, turn one of the wheels and see what direction the other one turns. If it turned the same direction, you had a LSD. If it rotated the opposite direction, you had a standard diff. Simple test in those days but it might not apply here - Perhaps someone in the know can confirm? Might save a bit on tyre wear
  6. Are you sure that's not 1.36363635? Sorry:stupid:
  7. Obviously, 155 is the amount of time in minutes it takes to travel up that dual carriageway
  8. Like I say, It could have been worse, it's a nice uphill dual carriage way. The type that you judge your car by how fast you can go up it... Cough/ 155 - Of course, without the roadworks
  9. Yes... I'd left the Snooper on my office desk! - Doh! We had a valeter at work the day before and he cleaned the inside of the screen and dash ect. I still had the Roadangel on the dash, but it was a good ole fashion speed trap that caught me. 65 in a temporary 40 roadworks area Could have been worse!
  10. Funny this thread should apear! I've got one on order fior evaluation purposes (nothing to do with the fact I got 3 points the other day ). I'm testing it against it's little brother the S5, (just to make sure it's using the same software) and the Roadangel, (as this is the best GPS unit ive used so far) Yes, I will be able to do a deal on them when they become readily available and if I'm happy with their performance
  11. From what I've heard, it's just a FCD and a bleed valve on the turbo. Load of balls for less than £100 of bits! Although, if I'm wrong and there IS a miracle box of trick... I want one
  12. Goodyear F1's here Very pleased with them - Excellent wet weather grip... Well, as good as can be expected
  13. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Originally posted by Darren ...I expect someone like NGK make the HKS etc plugs anyway......... Darren ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I thought the HKS ones were the Iridium plugs made by Denso...
  14. Dean, the switch is on the cars body side of the latch. It's very small.
  15. Stop taking it off road then! Sorry
  16. Theres definatly something wrong here. I had Kumho's on my car, new when I bought the car and I got 11,000 miles out of them. In fact they were only just touching the wear markers on the best part of the tread but had worna bit more on the inside edges. I then changed to Goodyear F1's and since the change, I've covered 5,000 miles and they still have plenty of tread left on them. More importantly, I do drive the car quite hard and still get a respectable milage from them. Are your tyres wearing all over or just the edges - Worth getting your geometry checked?
  17. Sod the spoiler, someones nicked ya front wing! Sorry, couldn't resist. I've never seen a small spoiler like that before. Looks like the standard type but smaller. Wonder if the car came without the original spoiler or if someone didn't like the large one... Last time I was there, Japvillage had a couple knocking around http://www.japvillage.com
  18. Never noticed before but I'll try it tomorrow and report back
  19. I was wondering if this could be done with an ebc but looking at the amount of hose connections, I guess this isn't possible. Stupid question... Where can I get these bits from?
  20. Sounds like a fault with the stock TC system. You get these lights flashing when you remove the TC butterfly shaft.
